Love Amaury's comment, "Every day's an adventure!"
Stuart is a great representative of the US at the chateau! Thanks for your humor, skills, beauty and quick wit! From a fellow US lover of French food and style
It is so awesome how all these chateau’s are bringing people from all over the world together
Communal living is the future.
The robes are so beautiful. I’m with Stephanie in regards to Philip’s hair colour- no ginger please. He’s naturally gorgeous.
The life of a Chateaulaine. Well done Ian (plaster), Stephanie and Anmaury for finding and fixing the live wire. Like you said the Château really decides your day for you 😁. I would so love to come and volunteer at LaLande one day. The excitement of all things that are thrown one’s way makes me feel alive and keen to help. The Peachicks are too cute. The gardens around you. Everything is just looking amazing. Well done everyone 🤗
You can look anyway you like, but you look great anyway.
This vlog has it all! Crises, chics, gifts, a birthday with cake, a new tower, discovered ancient wires that miraculously never started a fire, and the coiffeur with new hairstyles! I'm sure I missed a dozen topics... 😉❤
Wad zijn Julie lief top
I can’t wait till Thursday to see the quests in their beautiful robes. Amaury….. we’ll what can I say that has not already been said about this amazing young man with a multitude of talents and a work ethic that is incomparable. Stuart is back, YEAH. Kristy is such a Pied Piper of the animals of LaLande she keeps such a good eye on everything.
What can't Maria do? She makes everything look easy and we know it's not! Ditto Amaury!
Yea! For Hansel and Gretel! May they grow strong and large.
I love when Stephanie edits the vlogs, it's just extra magical, having the perfect balance of coziness and excitement
I am envious of your people who work on the fabric of the chateau. We used local workers when we first had our little house twenty years ago, but the standard of the work was very poor. We have now found a friend who has developed all the skills he used in England to do some really good work for us. All we need now is money ! WE have found a wonderful couple who are taming the garden. The last gardener cut down all my apricot trees !
Annalise is stunning today . She is a gem and I just think she is a awesome stylist . I’m retired Hair Designer and she always nails it .
I am sure Steve and Sarah will love them
The robes and/or the new peachicks 😅😅😅
Annalise, Wow Your Looking Superb , Happy and Young , 👌👍💕🌹🌹🌹🌹
Pavlina is such a darling. Like all the Lalande ladies. ♥️🇿🇦 and Maria baking the cake for Ian was very sweet.
So happy to see Annalise! What a charming personality!
Lovely seeing the guests, amongst the Chateau chores..
Ian's plastering is really impressive!
He really is a master craftsman! So sweet of Maria making him a cake. He turned positively red he was so embarrassed! What a precious man!
Indeed, is awesome. Is like new. Great job Ian.
Annalise did a fantastic job on your hair
Great advertising for the folks who volunteer and visit. Those dressing gowns are lovely
Why am I such a fan of Chateau Diaries? Today’s vlog is why!!! Such a busy morning with exciting news of baby Peacocks, fascinating workers and workings at the Chateau and lastly, the anticipation of the arrival of all the other Chateau owners/friends. Looking forward to Thursday’s reunion and I’m predicting a parade of ‘100 Stars’ gowns by the weekend guests? Love your new hairstyle Stephanie, Annalise is a master hairdresser!🏰❤️🏰❤️
Yes Christine I too think there’s something afoot, maybe a collaboration with One Hundred Stars, Daddy’s art work and the LaLanda shop! Great vlogg today 👏👏👏
We don’t have much longer to wait...😅🤔
He is just too Good to be true. Such a wonderful young man never let him leave
I can see why Amaury gave Phillip the keys . Philip has been on a mission to fit keys to the locks. The Pea chicks are so adorable .Now we have new babies to follow. I’m so glad that live wire was revealed and fixed . Annalise never disappoints on the hair. Hope you give her a hair station some where .
Thank you Stephanie and LaLanders for all you do!
Happy Birthday to Plaster Master Ian! You guys are all really sweet to everyone who comes into contact with you all and it’s wonderful to see!
Amaury!! What a gorgeous man!!! A wonderful man as you said!! A beautiful smile, he's a master of many trades! He's got the looks and fixing hands!!
Amaury to the rescue again!!!
Happy birthday, Ian!
Annalise is looking beautiful today. The new wee chicks delightful.
I'm so happy about the Pea Chicks! They are completely precious! Much love and fun Donna🐳
We are in love with a hundred stars,!
I like Philip's dark natural color...it was beautiful. I'm with you Stephanie. Pea chicks are so cute. That hot wire was unreal. Thank God it never caught fire.
That situation with the wire is called a miracle and was discover at the exact day and time to fix it
Thank goodness the live wire was found before it could cause anything catastrophic from happening. Also thank goodness for Amaury who knew how to find the solution and fix it. I love Hansel and Gretel!! Thank heavens you managed to get them into a safer area. The robes are lovely and I can't wait to see what they look like once they are on or at least unfolded so we can see the full design.
I can't wait to see them in it.
The house isn't there to support you, you are there to support the house. OMG !!! So right you are every Chateau is under construction. Congrats Mr. Amaury on solving the electrical, appreciate the struggle.
The scent of wisteria is truly magical . I have childhood memories of the dream inducing scent wafting in the windows on summer nights when we visited elderly members of the extended family. Most had historic houses and wisteria was ubiquitous.
Congratulations. Annalise is a hairstlyle top artist. Stephanie and Philip look good in contrast to each other. The peachicks are so sweet. And the robes are marvels! I was happy that Isabelle J. answered my greetings. Thank you for today
What can I say I love the château and all the lovely people who are there. Each and everyone is just lovely. The pea chicks are precious. Happy Birthday to Ian what an amazing job you have done on the tower. Amaury is always such a gentleman his work ethic is commendable hats off to his lovely parents for raising such a good person! Annalise you are delightful and so talented. Ladies the cake looked amazing ! And the gentleman who cycled all the way from Denmark …. How great is that ? Stephanie you have created the finest example of what the world should be and needs. ❤️🕊
Steph and Phillip, both your hair looks GREAT!!🤍🤎
Baby peacocks 💕🏰💕 I love courgettes!!
Congratulations Siff & Thor and welcome Hansel & Gretel xxxx
Happy Birthday Ian!! :D
What lovely gifts 🎁
The peacocks are like God's beauty on earth. So fantastic.
🥰🥰😄wad een mooi kasteel 🏰
Amaury, I went a year without electricity on my outer wall because of Covid lockdown and you can solve the problem in one day how amazing.
Another multi layered episode! Amaury and Steph doing some detective work finding old wiring, debates on hair colour and style; very glamorous with the Hollywood curls; new life with twin peachicks. Fingers crossed for Hansel and Gretel. The sheer joy in Pavlena's face when she held one. So endearing and then guests coming back as volunteers. What's not to like 🙂
Love how you talked about the house like it was a living thing! Lol
A treat as always.
Corgette, or Zucchini makes a wonderful bread great for entertaining, and it can be frozen for up to 6 months. Great with mixed in items like nuts, cherries, raisins, currants, chocolate chips. I peel and seed, then run through the food grinder on my Kitchenaid. There are recipes all over for every level of skill from beginner to chef. I freeze pulp for mid winter fresh baking. The smell fills the house beautifully.
Mmmm. Another idea is to make a zucchini and corn relish to go with salads or cold meats for lunch. Even yummy just spread on bread for a quick snack.
@@somewherenicefarmstay6146 A soup of grilled corgette mixed frozen veg and tomato juice simmered and a spot of seasonal herbs can adapt the dish to any region of the world. We used to add a bit of ground and browned venison to add a bit of protein to the dish. Serve with rustic bread and a glass of red. ;)
@@DavidBriggsAdventures what time will you be having us all over!! 😊😋
We have grated zucchini, green onions & fresh spinach in our scrambled eggs in addition to making zucchini bread/muffins (with chocolate chips, naturally).
I was at Highclere Castle today (aka Downton Abbey) and saw they are selling One hundred stars robes in their gift shop.
wow stephanie. that hairdo looks so good on you. like the regal chateau owner you are!!
The château is looking sooooooo beautiful!
The big courgettes (we in Australia call them Zucchini). Cut in half lengthwise, scrape out the middle bits (which will have big seeds in, and feed to your chickens. They will love and thrive on them!) Then stuff the hollowed out zucchini/courgettes. There is many a things you can use to stuff them with and bake, and always topped with cheese. Then cut into individual portions. YUM...Maria cooking a cake with them was a good idea, moist cake always.
I'm in London and I was thinking about your lavender courtyard today as we bake in the heatwave. It must be lovely in the evening there.
Love your hair Style Stephanie and Phillip. And the chicks 🐥 are so adorable. Merci
oh bless Ian's soul 😥💔 just saw this and i knew he had passed...happy memories xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Ya know, the shutters look very nice the way the are, sort of distressed. And they look great against the trim color.
Stephanie We Only Have One Pea Chick This year. Fabulous Video To Night. Have a Lovely Week. Xx 😊😘🦚
Many adventures to follow today! The precious animal numbers have grown by 2 peachicks!!
The pea chicks are so cute.
Thank you ❤️ Video👍❤️
Just another crazy day at LaLande, love it. And more baby peacock chicks, so beautiful ❤️x
I laughed when the courgette chocolate cake was being made because 1) yes we in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada also hide courgette in chocolate cake, and 2) will try to “share” it with anyone who will take it. It’s left on doorsteps and in vehicles!
Ian, the tower wall is amazing!!! Great work.
I love your birds!!
Love you guys!
My husband bought me a 100 stars robe after seeing my delight of watching everyone rake the courtyard in robes.
Hope the chicks stay safe🍀
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤

Hola from Honduras! Love all your stories from the very first one! You've become a master at editing and weaving lots of interesting story threads into a magic carpet ride! 😍
This was an excellent video, so glad the hot wire was discovered. Emory is the best. 🎉🎉Surprise 🎉🎉

What a great show, baby pea chicks, new visitors, wonderful food , beautiful robes and the lovely Annalise...............Donna in Toronto
The château gets more beautiful each day!
I love the enthusiasm of all your videos.
I can't wait to come to Lalande and meet all you wonderful people!
There are two truely deeply talented people connected to the chateau....Amoury and photographer: Michael Potts. Amaury is deeply knowledgeable and a great craftsperson and Michael captures incredible images like the ones of the recent crash. Both men really understand their work and take it to higher levels.
I love the pea chick's, Congratulations. So happy your found the old wiring and disconnected it. Hope there is no more hiding. The cake looks delicious! Welcome everyone that's arrived. Annalise is a wonderful hairstylist. The robes are magnificent. Love to all ❤.
Courgette bread toasted, with cheese is lovely.
So pleased to see Stuart again.
Loved seeing the baby peacocks. Thanks for sharing 👍 🥰
You sure know how to entertain us Steph and Phillip! This vlog was spectacular!
Finding these problems is never bad news. Find trouble in advance and resolve the issue. Thank God you are sounded by wise craftspeople who can fix things before they grow into a crisis.
Very good job Annalise on Stephanie’s hair,
Shred the courgettes with a cheese grater. Mix with spices of your choice. Add salt and pepper to taste.Crack several eggs (4-6). Blend with the courgette shreddings. Cook over the stove. DELICIOUS!!! Other options - chop up red peppers and add to mixture. ENJOY!!! 😁❤️🇨🇦🌸🌻🌺👏👏👏
Congratulations on the arrival of the new baby pea chicks! xx
what an eventful night ... whew on getting the electrical worked out ... happy bday Ian ... cool hairstyle ... what a beautiful room in the tower
Enjoyed from beginning to end! Thank you
Aaaa I didn’t want this to end. So much joy happiness and laughter I actually feel as though I am there. Steph I love the way you make a story out of everything even the birth of little chicks.
I love Russian sage and lavender. Two of my favorites. I’m rather new to the château videos but I must say I adore yours. You are a warm spot In a mad caped world
Maybe you could also get some thick warm robes to have at the chateau. It is lovely to find such a thing on ones bathroom door when one arrives to ones room. True the robes shown in this video is perfect for the summer and cool to wear. It doesnt do much for covering 'see throughness', but that is adapted, when one wearing it, i am sure.
Hopefully good news over weighs bad news 👍
