SKIN LIMIT SHOW "Wound Freeze" [Full Album]

- The first and only LP from UK industrial metal group Skin Limit Show, released in 1994 on Lethal Records. Featuring former Pitch Shifter guitarist Stuart Toolin (who played on "Industrial" and "Submit"), the band would go on to release the EP "Walking Knife" the following year (which you can also find on my channel) before splitting up at some point after that, as far as I know.

Thanks for uploading the whole album, I was one of the singers on this album. The band was started by Stuart and myself, as I was friends with Mark from Pitchshifter and he put me on to Stuart when he was forming the band. It started with Stuart, myself and a drum machine, with Stuart writing the music (he is a talented dude) and I did the lyrics. Mindhate, the last song on this album was the first song we worked on together. We got other people in from the Nottingham scene and recorded this one album together. The album design was put together by John from Pitchshifter based on our ideas. The second EP (Walking Knife) was recorded after I had left the band, and the other singer Kev had left too, so it was a totally different singer. We had worked and demoed he EP songs before I left, so the lyrics and EP name were from my ideas, but I left to work with my other bands.. We played some shows in the UK, a few times with Optimum Wound Profile, which is how Phil Vane ended up doing some guest vocals on the album too. We also did a mini tour of Europe in 94.
Hi. Anyway to reach out to you directly? I'm writing something on the early industrial metal zeitgeist, and would love to communicate.
@@adamwright3346 dm me on here
I WILL own both this album and the EP eventually, no matter the rarity! Begs for a re-release, it's SO damn good! Thanks for helping with its creation!
And thanks again, Killian!
I remember seeing you at Rock City with Optimum Wound Profile, top gig!
Merci !
Amother industrial metal band I would have loved but never heard of until Killian's channel. I loved this guitarist's stuff in those 1st 2 classic pitchshifter releases. This is great stuff.
you've never heard "microwaved", or any of the other popular pitchshifter songs? it's kinda crazy it's the same band.
@@enemyofvirtue I want to believe after desensitized they are an entirely different band. Its so unlistenable after that album.
@@dogbotdubedit1416 totally, they sure made money though. a lot of good bands went south around that time.
This Guy is Gold total
@@dogbotdubedit1416 yup total garbage
Fuck yeeeeeeh! I find this music from 1994 year.
Some of these songs really remind me of late 80s/early 90s ministry
I wish Pitchshifter would break up and the band's original members forming their own band bringing back its old days.
a kickass album
Thought it sounded average for a bit, then it bloody hit me. Nice.
This album is not available in MP3 and the CD isn't even on E-Bay.
Probably they were one of the first "dance metal" band of the history, even before Neue Deutsche Harte movement.
This has nothing to do with NDH. It sounds very mach like Ministry(industrial) . Read the description.
lol no.
This is anything but danceable. Post-punk industrial sucks. Noise-industrial is superior.
@@tinodeangeli2288 tbh I don't hear any Ministry here
