Pintail Valentine

This breeding male Northern Pintail, with its gleaming white breast and signature pointed tail, found, and then followed its mate into the more private shoreline marsh. I watched this mating scene at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Brigantine NJ.
