It haunted dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus triceratops and Ankylosaurus and they even hunted Therizinosaurus a very dangerous dinosaur with biggest claws ever
A T-rex would be smart enough not to attack a Triceratops from the front. It would almost always attract from behind. A modern day lion almost never attack an African buffalo from the front.
there's evidence from fossil remains of an edmontosaurus that Tyrannosaurus did attack prey from behind. Specifically focusing on biting the base of the tale where there was a huge artery.
OK, so this documentary is ( at the time of this comment being written) at least 4 years old. Whilst I'm uncertain when the idea that most dinosaurs had a coat of feather like structures took hold, I'm sure that the orientation of theropod hands had already been determined. In which case the depictions of T Rex and other theropods in this documentary are wrong, with hands folded in towards the chest, rather than palms facing towards each other. Another issue I have, which extends to all such documentaries, in fact, is the depiction of hunt scenes. Why do dinosaur film makers always feel it necessary to have the predators bellow and roar before they attack? When such behaviour is not only detrimental to a hunt's success (especially for an ambush predator) but also something all predators on the hunt wouldn't do? The idea is to sneak up as close to prey as possible, which means making as little noise as possible. Having gone to all the trouble of sneaking up to prey, even the least intelligent hunter knows not to bellow or roar and give the game away!
In some cases one would imagine the point of roaring before an attack, if that is indeed the way it happened, was done at the last minute to panic the prey. Make them make mistakes, go in the wrong direction, or run them in a more suitable area for capture. Also: relax. Having the roar makes it more interesting to most. Not everyone will be watching these videos with a theory of reality in mind. Some just want to be entertained, no?
@@lotharsoran3604 I'd rather be entertained with more factual representations. I can go to the movies for entertainment. But I forgive these folks. this is a good 'un.
Sam seemed more amazed reading Koreaceratops and Triceratops share common ancestry than he was of the existence of a portal through time and space. So amazed he picked up a Korean-ESL accent.
Sorry guys...the cretaceous was the time of the rise of the angiosperms. Flowering trees would have been everywhere. Aren't you confusing this gymnosperm dominated forest with an earlier time??? Say, the Jurassic??
I like this video. The amusing introduction with the time portal was fun. If people don't like this is likely because they don't have the scope of imagination to appreciate it, even if sometimes the story is a little cheesy 🤣 that's part of the fun.
No food,clean water,weapons medical 1st ad,tools etc ✨🤔😳-books on various important topics- edible plant guide - building construction-water purification- I could go on-essentially he’s very unprepared 🧐❗️✨
It amazes me how critical every one has been. My 4 year old loves this and it has been very educational for him. Its a you tube show on dinosaur s, not a Hollywood production by any means, if that is what you aim to see than go watch Jurassic park but keep the obnoxious comments to yourself and click a different show to watch! Goodness!
All that roaring and verbal threats are primarily mammalian, IMO. Hawks, Owls, and Eagles are quite silent, I believe. They especially don't make sounds when they are hunting and attacking. The only time birds seem to make sounds is when they are nesting, or defending a nest. So, wouldn't dinosaurs, especially Therapod dinosaurs likely behave the same?
animals hunt in silence too, they only make sound once they got their prey or when fighting, never purposefully they make sound. they create sound to warn other predators/prey to stay away.
The Royal Tyrell Museum is not located at Dinosaur Provincial Park. It is located in Drumheller AB 2 hours away and Dinosaur Provicial Park is located in Patricia AB. I was here, and felt like I had stepped into a time machine. It is majestic in it's own right.
Tarbosaurus was able to beat up triceratops and that means it could also win a fight with Tyrannosaurus because Tarbosaurus has very muscular legs and a very robust body
I have 5 boys and they all really enjoy these series. They all have their favorite dinos so it's nice to find a series so lifelike with so many different types involved in the story. Thank you.
Marvelous! I learned almost nothing in school because I was in grade school in the 1940's and there wasn't that much known back then. However it is in 4th grade that I discovered Ray Bradbury, who wrote the short story about the time travelers & the butterfly wing that completely changed history. Thanks for this great doc.
this is chad moment for zhucengtyrannus.
And it makes me happy because zhuchengtyrannus is my favourite dinosaur
What if Sam died there. Millions of years later, paleontologists dig up a few of his bones.
What a wrench in the machine that'd be lol.
But there's an extremely high chance that he would turn into ashes before he even gets fossilised
0:16 if you were around 100 million years ago, there certainly wouldn't be obviously cleared forest paths
great for kids
my fav dino is mosasaurus
I like that the bigger ceratopsian dinosaurs sounds like elephants and mammoths

Those koreaceratops are adorable, I want one as a pet now
Clean up after them is tough if you don't have the space a lot of space
It haunted dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus triceratops and Ankylosaurus and they even hunted Therizinosaurus a very dangerous dinosaur with biggest claws ever
When are we goin to tell him
What are you talking about
i love dinosaurs
Yes feathers on velociraptor!
The T Rex launches a surprise attack on the Triceratops by roaring loudly first? Some surprise attack.
If you a little more closely you'll see that he's yelling "SUUUURPIIISSEEE"
It is not a T. Rex
Trex has no vocal chords so it actually can’t roar...more like rumbles like a gator
Koreaceratops
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Triceratops
Yin Long
Psittacosaurus
Protoceratops
Velociraptor
Centrosaurus
Albertosaurus
Sinoceratops
Zhuchengtyrannus

It is very true that a T-Rex not to attack a triceratops form the front

Haha my comment funny too ..
I've got a fun game: Everytime a group of ceratopsians is addressed as a 'pack' take a shot! The proper term should be 'herd'

'Pack' is used on predators...
Everytime you see broken twisted theropod forelimbs, bite an onion.

Thank you for keeping this Documentary for next generation.

Millions of years ago dinosaurs fought, died and never new that way, way later GOD is going to show up to create the Earth.
The earth was already there you moron, so how can “god” show up later to create the earth again?! 🤦🏻♀️
Very good film

Is a good movie
this dinosour movie is great
Very good
Highly unlikely that Sam would out-run an Acrocanthosaurus, plus, Acrocanthosaurus lived in north america
Koreaceratops is a semi ag
I like dinosuars!
Ceratopcians are best
+Random stuff We all do, but rarely when they are inaccurate.
+Reuben Caldwell well that is true
Finally, a Korean Dino doc that doesn’t have Tarbosaurus
Wow dinos i love dino
If I'd were him I wouldn't go through the portal
Joshua Perez I would.
At least not venture more than a few steps away...
Just as well Sam found the only English book on dinosaurs in that library
Watch out Sam, it's a Kim Jongasaurus!
For the beginning I the small ceratopsian was a Aquilops because the carnivore looks a lot like a acrocanthosaurus, HMMM !!!!
I think triceratops or T rex will win
I think Triceratops
In the TRex vs Triceratops matchup, I'd think TRex would think twice. Gotta be really hungry to risk that kind of damage.
It isn't t rex it is zhuchengtyrannus
Nvm there is t rex here
Dino sour my fav
Koreceratops looks kinda like giant tadpoles
Ha ha actually
Tarbosaurus king of the dinosaurs
The first dino is cute

How does no one else notice a koreaceratops running through a library?
No one else notices it because Sam's on the magic mushrooms.
For herbivores, Ceratopsians we’re badass . If I was any type of tyrannosaur , I’d avoid them at all costs.
If a was an albertosaurus, the only kind of ceratopsian would be psittacosaurus
Obviously its the only kind of ceratopsian I could eat
triceratops would win 80% to 20%

This was great until they said the word "Nanotyrannus"
