Much love and success to you Conner 🙏✝️🙏💜💯
Connor, i am here born and raised in Coney Island NY , 😋. It was very brave of you to come on camera and speak about this. I am currently clean, but on MAT, and i just wanted to show you some support and tell you how proud i am of you, its not an easy thing to overcome an addiction. Keep up the good work!!
Connor, I believe in you to break the cycle . We’re all so proud of you! No matter what don’t give up.
So much love for you Connor!! This is absolutely amazing and incredibly inspiring 💕 were routing you on!!! What a strong man!!! You’ve got this!!!!
It was so brave of you as a 22 year old to come on here and share your story💜 SO PROUD OF YOU💕
Here is the address to write Connor Audette at the sober house he's leaving for today!
202 Cove Forge Rd, Williamsburg PA 16693
Ty Connor for sharing your story!
Jen the work you do gives me chills. I know first hand what you’ve built is not easy there’s not enough harm reduction anywhere. Thanks for doing the amazing work you do everyday. Keep your head up 🆙 Connor is shinning example of your hard work!!💯😭
Two comments, because this seriously made my eyes well up a few times. I just turned 26 and am still struggling on and off to get clean; what I wouldn’t do to for the time I went to treatment at 22 to have been the time I figured it out, but I didn’t have half the conviction that Connor shows just in this video alone. Sometimes the good in people shines so loudly and I can totally see it radiating from him here. I believe in you buddy. 🤞🏻I’ll definitely be writing. You can do this, we love you!
I love this comment!! Thank you so much. This is why I posted today. So he can see things just like this. I appreciate you 😘😘😘
You can do this too!! You never have to figure it all out. Just do the next right thing- one thing at a time and one day at a time ❤️
You can do it too girl! It takes so much strength to even admit this! You are very self-aware which is a great thing, so I have faith that you too could rise above and get clean. Stay strong!
My heart is bleeding for this kid♡
He just needed someone to care ❤
Thank you, Jen, for being that soft place to land. For anyone that has been "through it", it feels like a blessing to us all. I could feel the intensity when you brought up his step Dad starting to be back in his life- which is clearly special to him.
Thank you for reminding him that he is loved and worth good things. And that he never has to sleep outside again. I can tell he is so grateful.
Connor ! YOU are brave and you are loved! I am so proud of you 👏
Keep making good choices for yourself and before you know it you will have an apartment!
I didn't expect to cry this morning- thanks for sharing this with us Jen.
Keep us updated Connor! You're a good kid- keep on keeping on♡
Couldn’t have said it better myself. I didn’t expect to cry when I clicked on this video either. Jen whatever a positive role model you have become. His story really effected me. Reminded me of the my own blessings because of sobriety. Leave an address I’m sure people would write. Or try to help I’m whatever he needs. Xo
Connor is amazing! I wish I had gotten my shit together at his age, took me until I was 38. I'll have 7 yrs in July, and I thank God daily for it. Hugs to you both ❤
Congratulations on almost 7 years!! That is amazing and so inspiring. I have almost 3 and I can't imagine having 7 that's so great. 💜
It’s not easy being vulnerable online like this. Good for both of you! Best of luck Connor. Your future is so so bright
Connor, you are so brave! We ain’t fancy around here.
Other special guests on Jen’s Channel:
Luna playing in, getting stuck in, and knocking down a ton of boxes.
Frankie teething, chomping Jen’s fingers while recording.
The Frankie vs Cat episode. Jen was in her tiny recording room, Frankie & Friends started playing & almost knocked over her whole recording set up.
Jen’s plant collection.
You didn’t fall into any boxes.
You didn’t bite Jen. (Right?)
You didn’t knock over her recording set up.
You’re much more articulate than any of Jen’s plants. 🤣😂
For real, though, welcome to the group! When you feel like you need ONE FREAKING bright spot in your day, head to the group on Facebook. You will never again need to feel lonely. That’s what we do. 💜
😂❤😂❤😂❤
I saw an interesting study that said, whenever you're nervous and you physically say the words out loud "I'm excited" instead, it changed the physical reaction of your brain. You dont even have to believe it, but nervous and excited are so closely related in your brain that just the act of saying "excited" out loud would swing things a different way.
Good luck, Conner! I rooting for ya!
I love how raw, honest and authentic you guys connection is. Jen, you looked at Conner like a proud mama!
Good luck with rehab C! You got this. Can’t wait to see an update video this time next year, you celebrating 1 year in your own apartment. Life is going to be so bright for you. 💖💪
Connor, I got clean at 22 as well. I now have 15 years in recovery. It's not easy, but I promise you can do it! Don't ever listen to the people who tell you that you're too young. There's no such thing as too young for recovery! I lived probably 20 years of experience in the time that I used, and I imagine that you did as well. Keep leaning on the supports in your life, like Jen! So proud of you for deciding to get well. Life truly does get better. Thank you so much for your openness and honesty. 💜💜💜
Yay! I was really looking forward to this when you mentioned it in the last video. Keep shining. We’re all so proud of you girly 🌈💜🖤
Thanks for coming on the channel and letting us in your story Connor! Hope everything continues to go well for you!
Thank you Jen , for being a safe space & solid support system for sooo many amazing people! Love you so much
I just clicked on this video because I love hearing from you Jen, but I’m usually not one to watch an interview / meet video… I could not turn away. Yes, Connor is amazing and you can see how much he wants (and deserves) to have better support and make better decisions.
It was you though. I have rarely seen someone so incredibly in tune with another human, let alone be able to relate while empowering in equal measure. You can clearly see that you are a godsend to the people you work with. I truly hope one day you can see the fruits of your labour in a tribe of family who owe part of their journey to sobriety to you or your work. Please never stop fighting 💪🙌🏼😘
Congratulations Connor! Such an amazing achievement!
This is so beautiful! I’m sooo proud of you Connor! Thank you for sharing your story honey! You are doing incredible! Keep going! Jen is an incredible role model and you have long term recovery in your future too! I can’t wait for a life update when and if you’re ready!!! Recover LOUDLY baby boy!!!
What stood out to me is the grin when you asked to show the pictures. That smirk showed pride. The feeling of pride is earned, and always a good sign when someone is really taking in and feeling the pride of personal accomplishment. Life can be full of hope and personal successes, big and small. 22 is so young. Everyone is just figuring out who they are at that age so build a good foundation now and there is a lifetime just full of positives times, healthy relationships and available opportunities ahead just waiting to be grabbed and enjoyed.
Thank you so much for your donation. It arrived today 🖤🖤🖤
@@JenCutting You're welcome. I try to donate to a few different things each month with my kids so we put you on our list.
God bless what you are doing. I see my son in this kid and my heart is hurting and swelling all at the same time
Jen, It’s really so beautiful to see the vulnerable and real side of helping addicts! Thank you! Connor, I know you don’t know me but I’m so proud of you for getting your life together! I know your childhood was terrible and you didn’t deserve that, nobody deserves that. My mother was my best friend but we got high together too, she moved in with my grandparents because her addiction wouldn’t allow her to be financially stable enough to take care of us. My mom got sober a few years before I did, we both had really bad relapses after years of sobriety and it was hard to get back to normal but we did. Also, When I say sober, I mean Suboxone sober because that’s the only sober I’ve ever known and I’m not ashamed of that, I’m proud to not be using anymore. If abstinence is your path, that’s amazing but it isn’t mine and I know I’ll get there one day. ♥️
Love this video. As a addict I know for me, it was actually discouraging to see ppl like Jen, yes she did it and she’s sober but it just made me think it could never be me. But to see you MEETING THEM WHERE THEY ARE and seeing the “come up” from the bottom up is huge. THIS is what we need to see. Love to hear u say “not everyone I work with is in recovery” yet... Connor you give us all hope! THANKS! 🙏
I cannot even express how much i love and admire both of you. I dont have much experience with addiction , i havent really seen dependency in my life , barely seen drugs, my story is very different. I live on the other side of the globe and know nothing about the reality of where or how you grew up , but your story , and your strength Connor , Im sure is inspiring those who struggle with addiction or have suffered from it one way or another , but for me , who has very different struggles , you are just as inspiring. You inspire me to push forward regardless, to give yourself the best chance , to take it day by day and believe in A future for yourself. I root for you and I thank you.
Thank you for sharing Connor. Best of luck to you and I'm so glad you found Jen and Jared. You deserve love and respect.
I am so proud of you Connor!
21 and sober here ❤️ recovery is possible no matter what your age. You are worthy and deserving of recovery and genuine happiness Connor. Progress not perfection and easy does it many he slogans but they are genuinely true and helpful ways to guide your life.
You both are inspirational. I’m blessed to hear about a piece of your lives
Connor-you're amazing! You're only 2 years older than me, yet you are so mature!
This is so touching! 😭 Two beautiful souls. Thank you for sharing your story and inspiration.
I had/have one of those PO’s. I called mine during my 3 year clean time because I was struggling out of blue. Harder than anytime I have ever had while being clean. She talked to me for an hour during her work hours. Hold onto that PO. Those few jewels in the system are worth their weight in gold. She gave me her personal cell number because she cared that much & wanted to continue being my support system.
Praying for you Conner, so glad you found Jen, she's the real deal🙏🙏
Thank you so much for sharing your story Connor! We are all rooting for you, you're amazing!!!
Conner, I pray for nothing but the BEST for you and that you have so much success in life 🙏✝️🙏💜 Jenn he has such a sweet personality and so lucky to have you backing him up 🙏✝️🙏💜💯👍
What an amazing resilient kid. You can tell he's such a good hearted person and is gonna create a great new life for himself. Jen you're such a blessing to this world. Your vids like these always make me tear up, it's so beautiful to see people recover. 💛
When I was in drug court my PO had my back and it made it so special!!! It really makes such a difference!!!!!
Connor you are such a beautiful soul. We are rooting for you. Thank you for being so vulnerable it gives us strength
Keep kicking ass Connor!! Your adorable! Everytime i turn my heaters on in my apartment...i remember how grateful i am to be clean and sober and warm and inside!!! You got this you can break the cycle that your family created...
Conner you don't know me but I am so DAMN PROUD OF YOU! Sharing your story and being honest about your past takes HUGE BALLS! Meth is a MONSTER of a drug and brings even the best people to the pits of hell... You are lucky to be alive to tell your story.. As some were not as fortunate. The root cause of most addiction is childhood trauma and you acknowledge that obviously but You are holding yourself responsible for your actions and taking steps to a a better life.. March 10th I will be 15 years clean and sober!!
It is so worth it! ..you are worth it! The cure to addiction is not treatment alone but "connection", connection to people who understand and are willing to stand not just by you but with you on your journey. You can do this! Wishing all the best!
RECOVER LOUDLY!!! ❤
WoW… So brave Conner!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I listened to your testimony with tears coming down my eyes. Your sooo young. So sweet & kind!!!! I’m sure Pennsylvania will be hard?? What kills us…only makes us stronger in the end!! But I will be praying for you. You have an excellent support system now too. hugs sarah 🙏💞
Dear Conor, Thank You for sharing this!!! We support You and send You lots of warm greetings!! ❤️❤️❤️
Not me tearing up seeing you in your element & hearing his story. This is by far my favorite video. I lost my little sister to meth for 5 years and i was always afraid I’d get that call. She’s now 3 years sober. Thank you for continuing to do this. 💛
🖤🖤🖤🖤
I was never addicted to drugs but I have went through my own set of addictions with alcohol and food. Alot of it came from my childhood. I'm rooting for you Connor. You got this!
Wish you Connor nothing but the best ! You are an amazing human being and you got this !!!
Awesome interview . Im pulling for you Connor. You are such a nice, thoughtful kid. Stay focused.
Jen is an amazing soul..I will never forget the day she came through my line at dollar tree and she was on a phone call and literally hung up on whoever she was talking to because she could tell I needed someone in that moment and when she asked me if I was ok all I could say was not really and she didnt pressure me to open up but handed me her card and said lets talk sometime..that one moment really melted my heart and let me know that no matter how alone I felt in that moment I was not alone even a stranger dropped everything to just let me know that I wasnt alone. I will forever be grateful for that quick interaction!!
Don't make me cry girl 😭😭😘😘😘😘
Meth got you so young when I would say just about anybody in your position would've been vulnerable to it :'( I'm so glad you're making your recovery now
Jen, I just wanted to say I’m really enjoying your recent content that is focused more on your job, the organisations you’re involved with and is about the recovery process. I can see you’ve got such a passion which is inspiring. It was great to see the work you’re doing with clients (in this case Conor) in real time. I’ve left Conor a reply on his comment to show my support, but I also wanted to let you know that you’re incredible and I’d love to see more of what you do.
Well done Conner😊 we are proud of you!
The energy in this video, man. Wholesome. Amazing job, Jen. & amazing job, Connor.
Thank you Guys for your kind help last week, keep up the good work... John
God Bless you both 🙏🏼
Way to go Connor! Sooo dang proud of you! 22 and getting sober 👏👏, it took me yrs and yrs to get my shit together! You got your whole life ahead of you. The best is yet to come. I too have had a VERY similar childhood/family dynamic as you, it's hard growing up faster than we should have had to. If you ever want to chat hit me up! Rooting for you! Keep up the hard work & when days are hard remember anyone can do anything for 10 mins. Some days have to be taken in 10 min intervals and that's ok!! Again so happy for you! Congrats on your sobriety!!🎉🎉🎉 Will keep you in my prayers!🙏💯🙏
I love him!!!!!! I’m a foster mom and love taking in teens that remind me of him. I see a bright bright future for him! ❤️❤️❤️
Finally got a chance to sit down and watch this! Love it!!! ❤️
Im only half way through but I wanted to say that I am so proud of you Connor! You are doing amazing and I believe in you!
When you laugh your eyes sparkle and I just know in my heart that you are gonna be okay.
More than okay, because I think you can do great things if you want to!
I’m so glad you reached out to Jen and I’m greatfull that you wanted to share your story.

Being a single mother and 10 year sober Morris County is a great place to get treatment abuse and recover from those addictions can't wait to catch up with that Lex great jobs
Connor you are so inspiring you got this and Jen is such a light, all the best luck to both of you!!
Wow Jen, I know you were talking to Connor, but it almost felt like you were talking to me because I'm also young (25) and going through shit😭 I'm so happy this video was made, it really has touched my heart. Your words make me want to be kinder to myself with my depression and anxiety struggles I've been going through most of my life, I didn't even realize how harsh I've been to myself til I saw how kind and gentle you are to him🥺
The way you close you mouth and just listen so intentionally. Ugh that is so amazing. 💜💙💜
Cant wait to see a fluffier version of Connor. Lol. We all definitely get fluffier once sober. Wishing you nothing but the best.
He seems like an incredibly sweet and genuine kid! He's got this!
I loved this Jen and the new direction you were talking about in the last video!! I can't wait to see more videos like this!
Congrats on two months, Conner! I am looking forward to an update in a few months! I bet you will go so far, and that apartment and year of sobriety will happen before you realize!! Thank you for sharing your life with all of us!!
Much love and light from snowy Montana to you both! And Jarred, too! 😘
Congratulations Conner!! We’re rooting for you
I remember Connor when he was younger and it breaks my heart to hear what he has gone through but I am beyond proud of him to find himself again
I’m not even completely through the video yet and I just had to comment and praise you Jen for the work you are doing! You aren’t only giving people help in the practical sense but you are speaking life into their heart and their souls. I don’t know what your faith is but I will tell you that this is the image of Christ that we should all strive to bear on this earth! You are such a beautiful woman and this man is so sweet. I pray for him and I stand in agreement with him and I pray for healing and for restoration and for him to know his worth and for him to write his own story what has happened to him as you said is not who he is! he is seems like an incredible young man and I just want to praise you both! ❤️
Omg I’m bawling this is amazing!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
He is an amazing heart and soul!
He deserves everything in this life!!!!
So good to meet you Connor ❤️ keep pushing, you’re a badass, were rooting for you !
Thank you for sharing your story! I love this type of video! Stick with your recovery; I promise you, it's worth it! It won't always be easy, but Jen's right, stick with the winners! You can find comfort with people that are doing the same thing you are.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS JEN! I’m coming up on 10 years in March and still cry when I see someone recover so humbly like Connor. His attitude is so positive and happy he will kick addiction in the ass 💯! Best wishes on your journey, Connor - I am looking forward to the comeback story!! ♥️
i really enjoyed this open discussion type of video. Connor seems so sweet. it's truly not his fault for going down the wrong road, he didn't know any better. im glad your paths crossed tho bc now he has a chance that he probably would've never gotten. i really hope he makes it out, i know he can, there's something about his spirit that says he will get out & go far. 💜
Connor, I’m proud of you for putting in the work and choosing to continue to work on your sobriety. How awesome is it that you can be a role model for your younger siblings - they have you to show them that they don’t have to grow up and be what they grew up in.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your story and we are here for you. All the best
so proud of you, connor. you will get through every hard time and come out a million times stronger

I’m loving this shade of blue on you Jen!! Blue is definitely your color! Love how you don’t do your roots also! It makes it look more put together in my opinion. Good luck to you Connor your on the right path buddy be proud of yourself an stay strong you have amazing support system sitting right next to you!
