@@rickoshay5525 I don't know what the precise origin of it is but it's something Anakin often says in humorous videos that portray him as vastly more intelligent than he is. I first encountered it in Anakin has a doctorate in Darth plagueis the wise studies (seals are good) but I don't know if that's the true origin

@@aaqz2710 because he clearly didn't take the high ground feat unlike Obi wan, giving him advantage on all attacks made from high ground. So for him being closer to the action gave him a better position, rather than the high ground. Obi wan, being the teacher of Anakin, would have of course meant that Anakin has intimate knowledge of the built Obi Wan chose, so claiming the high ground as a pre-emptive for victory made sense as a statement in his situation.
