@@captmack007 all the information i got was wrigleys deeded a large portion of the island to conservancy... either way if a businessman profiteer got a hold of catalina ...you'd see all those beautiful open hills full of private expensive resorts and houses.... lol

Went there as part of Crescent Bay Council, Troop 57 back in the mid 1950's. Entered the Order of the Arrow there. Traveled by water taxi.
Just thinking about how many of these boys made it through WWII. Just the right age.
