In addition to my YT channel, I have four companies and around 40 employees and YT has gone from being a hobby to pure stress for me. Ultimately, it should still be fun and that's why the only right thing to do is to do what you personally like 🤷♂️

It's true that as a viewer, you can really tell when a content creator is enjoying what they do vs they do it for a job. Viewers aren't dumb and I guess subconsciously you can pick up different tells which changes how the content is viewed. Glad you found your happy spot

You're absolutely right about social media. It can really mess with your head until it all takes a toll on your mental well-being. It's important to take breaks, set boundaries, and prioritize real-life connections over virtual ones.
Looking forward and the future, and please forgive my ignorance here, is there still the same opportunities that UA-cam was once famed for in respect to sedentary income? I mean to say earning money from older videos previously uploaded? I was just thinking (my autistic brain) about all the very hard work and financial commitment that my fave UA-camrs have put in, and the longevity of their business models. I like your commitment, the pivot etc and as an ASD adult applaud your attitude to happiness and therapy, I too have used anti depressants but did not feel a gain from them on a personal level. Your story seems very similar to a history of my mom and my brother whom both did therapy for many years and all sorts of antidepressant medication to turn out in the end that this was mostly ADHD where simple medication and some Psyhological education on how to live with ADHD spun their lives around 180 degrees.
Saw someone chatting about a warehouse specifically for people to convert their vans in. It's called the Van Build Hub. Comments on the post also implied another company has one down south somewhere. Hope that helps. Happy new year!

To be honest when the channel changed I only watched the videos that I had interest in. That was about half of them. I’m interested in the new idea hope you find a new project to build.
Staying off (anti-) social media when you earn your money on UA-cam could be challenging... I would recommend another strategy: restrict yourself to being just one part of yourself. Like, posting only pictures you like on Instagram. Talk only about your lastest build on Facebook. Don't entertain any drama, don't try to "please your audience". It works for me.
Well done for talking about your mental health will. Unfortunately a week ago today I lost my father to mental health he took his own life which had been massively traumatic for me. I also suffer with mental health and its a topic that is not mentioned enough.

Hey Will, Never interacted before, but I've been watching your videos since I bought a knackered old ford transit conversion earlier last year, and I've really enjoyed all the videos I've watched of yours. I really like the idea of you battling with a 40yo camper that's seen better days - the first Renault Trafic models are ones I looked at before getting a transit, they can be fairly cheap to buy, and they're an interesting make with quite few fans out there still. Also, don't be afraid to review similar campers to ones in previous videos - I reckon it'd be interesting to see how they differentiate to each other.

I have watched every single video on your channel, from your adventures in Nepal, to stealth camping in the Galaxy, building MRY and now camping in other people's rigs for a night.and I LOVE IT ALL!! I saw a video about a camper today. The cupboards were so low that if you got up quickly you’d nut the bottom and knock yourself out. I see you’ve sensibly put yours at the foot end 😂 surprised the Caravelle was a favourite, but an engine transplant on one of those could be fun. Keep doing what you’re doing, I love your content

Never interacted before, but I've been watching your videos since I bought a knackered old ford transit conversion earlier last year, and I've really enjoyed all the videos I've watched of yours. I really like the idea of you battling with a 40yo camper that's seen better days - the first Renault Trafic models are ones I looked at before getting a transit, they can be fairly cheap to buy, and they're an interesting make with quite few fans out there still. Also, don't be afraid to review similar campers to ones in previous videos - I reckon it'd be interesting to see how they differentiate to each other.
