I’m a Birmingham Stallions fan so this doesn’t effect me, but the USFL really needs to get everyone into home stadiums next year. Covid pandemic protocols are long over. We have a home field for sure, but this is ridiculous.

Definitely! Love was right on the money threading the needle with some of those passes. The D was on their game, too, with the picks, the forced fumbled and recoveries. I think us Panthers fans can look forward to having more to cheer about this year this season.
Back in the day. Didn't the NFL absorb the original usfl? If anything the xfl and usfl combine and do something. 🤔 Overall I've seen more fans at independent wrestling shows! 😅 I know this league just started their season but the xfl is definitely a better product!

The original USFL was wonderful, and these new leagues are different but pretty wonderful too. The players are professionals, and we get to watch spring football!
Last season, the Panthers would have gone 8-2 if their one score games were reversed. If they can actually close out games like they did today, they might have something.
Houston is only playing in Memphis for a year. It’s more about the quality of the product than attendance right now. At least we have 3 new markets this season!

The only downside with the USFL and XFL competing with each other is the quality of both leagues will be hindered. There’s only so many good football players out there, and now they are really being split between the two leagues. Would love to see a merger in a couple years, or if not a merger work on creating a partnership like promotion/relegation between to the two leagues to consolidate the talent and make a better product.

The idea is minimize travel-costs for the participating teams. On the fan side, I talked to a guy from Nashville who traveled to Birmingham last year. He got to watch 4 games per weekend for some low VIP ticket-price(s). By accident, he booked rooms at the same hotel most of the players were staying at; and got to hang with them in the hotel lounge.

The Defenders can’t get 51,000 if for no other reason that their stadium only seems to hold 18,000, which is pretty much the same as what Memphis and Birmingham each had yesterday.
