I JUST went thru almost EXACTLY what Randy Travis just did! In fact I was discharged only hrs before Randy suffered HIS stroke! The only difference: mine started w/ pneumonia & I had already been diagnosed w/my heart conditions, so the Drs knew to watch for related stroke/heartattack from the beginning I got the same level of Care!
What location was he transferred to for his physical therapy I wonder? My father in currently there with the very same team as Randy Travis. But my father isn't doing nearly as well as Randy was reported here with Dr. Jed Irwin and Dr. Smith. We are VERY concerned about the level of care my father has received at this hospital so far. Many protocols have been overlooked or not honored so far. My father's condition is still very much "in the balance" and he's no where near healthy at this point. They initially indicated it would be a quick 7 to 10 days.... Now after having to "go back in" he's looking at 6 months, if he even lives. Please understand my father is only 67 years old, physically active etc... and went in for valve replacement only.
