- PRAISE DEFEATS THE ENEMY. When I was little we used to hear things like if you make the sign of the cross the devil will run. Well it is not far from the truth. Praising God, especially in Song thwarts the plans of the enemy. When you praise God, the enemy is confused. When you praise God, God works for you. God fights for you.

1st timer here, not sure how or why you showed up on my homepage, but the title alone was encouraging and affirming. Thank You! I was in excruciating pain with my tooth past few days. Got better and last night returned! Instead of going to bed again, or wailing, I took Ibuprofen and PRAISED LOUDLY! The enemy was actually attacking more than the physical, praise revealed it to me. Now, I'm awake this morning with peace and liberation.

This morning I prayed and asked God to show me how to fight back because the enemy has been coming against me and the ministry God has given me hard! I said I'm tired of letting him do this, please teach me. The first song to play on my playlist this morning was "Giants" by Tri-City Singers and it says 'Your praise will bring down strongholds When you praise, you will see miracles Just praise when things seem impossible and the King of glory will show His glory. Let God arise, giants die." I knew this was God reminding me that praise is my way out. Now this video comes across my page as confirmation.

You too can call on the name of Jesus for healing. It is faith in his name that heals!!! He healed Peter’s mother in law, he will heal your mother. What I am offering is so much better than medical care.
Thank you, but how does one reconcile the scriptural mandate to prayer “earnestly” and to “pray without ceasing” to the idea of asking once and then just giving praise? This is something I have wrestled with for decades and would appreciate your thoughts.
@@chris013579 thank you!!! I plan to answer this tonight! Earnestly doesn’t mean asking over and over again because you doubt he heard you. At some point you have to believe he heard you and is doing something about it. This is when you quit asking and start believing he heard you. Your praise tells God you believe. Faith only happens before you receive. Don’t wait till you receive before you praise. Praise is Faith in action. Faith is expressed before the manifestation- after their is no need for faith
@@chris013579 it’s never wrong to ask. And keep asking as long as you are asking on faith not desperation. Mark 11 Jesus said whatever you ask for Prayer believe that you have received it and it will be yours. When we thank God and rejoice - we are telling him we received it. Whether we feel or see it or not
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you". Notice that it says pray without ceasing between rejoicing and Thanksgiving. Rejoicing in the Lord is prayer. Thanking God prayer. Praising God is a high form of prayer.
