Nice info well presented Troy. What is the difference between a route and a track please?

It's a little hard to explain. I'll refer you to this resource: support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=v0rJAHy2hq3prHjRlxdRw5
"Routes are best suited for reaching a specific destination, or set of destinations, when the path being taken is not important." For my motorcycle adventures, the "path being taken" IS important. I'm not trying to reach a destination as much as explore the entire path I created.
May or may not be as relevant with newer devices, but for example, at least in the past, a Garmin device might only support up to 50 route points. The path you create may not be the path the device chooses because it uses it's own smarts to "route" between the route points. Whereas a track would support 500 points in older Garmin units and your track was left alone.

@@troywolf9216 thank you that's a good explanation. I too am intending using it for motorcycle use so I'll go with your suggestion. Best wishes.

Hello and thank you for this video!
Do you have an android application to advise me to read the GPX file?

As I briefly mention in the video, on my Android phone, I use OsmAnd (stands for Open Source Maps Android) osmand.net/. It is a very robust, feature-rich application. This means the learning curve can be daunting, but it is an excellent on-the-bars motorcycle navigation tool. This guys goes into more detail than you'll ever need about how to get things going: advrider.com/f/threads/ultra-rugged-kyocera-phones-gps-smartphones-my-guide.1206076/
