Dr. Jesus from The Swanee Quintet (and formerly known as The Hallelujah of Gospel Singers) was recorded back in 1978 (and it was redone back in 1998) and The Legendary members were included as the leader and lead singer of The Swanee Quintet Percy Griffin, Little Johnny Jones, James “Big Red” Anderson, Charlie Barnwell! The Swanee Quintet current members were included the following lead singer of The Swanee Quintet who is currently Eddie McCoy, Koby Weaver, Duwand Wright, Eddie Bynes, Johnny Mims and many other members of The Swanee Quintet (who were carrying the legacy of The Swanee Quintet) as The Georgia Boys!

They performed this song at Trinity Baptist Church here in Pittsburgh.This was before Charlie Barnwell and Little Johnny Jones passed. It was a fantastic service.

Deacon Percy Griffin and Little Johnny Jones were so great together. This is one of their greatest songs. They all were so down to earth they sat at my dining room table and it was like we all had known each other for a lifetime. They are truly missed their music will last forever.

THE TITLE OF THAT SONG IS DR JESUS ORIGINALLY RECORDED IN 1978
It was first recorded sometime in the early 70s then they recorded it again in 1978 and in 1998 and the young swanees live recorded the song but it got taken down
