I work in a call centre in England, and its actually crazy how unprofessional scammers are compared to genuine call centre workers
Sarb S well some callcenters are helpful, this call center managed to get me a refund on my anti-virus software due to a technical issue!
If only called 2 call centers in my life, once for help with an error on my Amazon delivery and the other to Chase bank to get rid of a hold on my Debit card, both were pretty helpful but I was a bit hesitant on giving them some information because of people like this

They have incredibly fragile egos. To be humiliated by an American is hugely damaging to them because they have a huge chip on their shoulder.
They have the mindset of a child and throw temper tantrums like one, too. That's the same reason they always resort to childish insults. Most of them don't know anything about computers besides what is on their script so it pisses them off when someone who does have the knowledge wastes their time and won't fall for their scam. They don't like when you "try to be too smart" - I can't even count the amount of times I've heard scammers say that in different videos.
I would suggest it’s a quirk of the honour system in India amongst other places. In the west our honour is based on how we treat other people but over there it’s based on how other people treat them. It gives them impunity to do whatever they want and outrage when it’s done to them. Just an idea.

@@tonysteel1377 I agree that some of the policemen are paid by the scammers to turn a blind eye to their activities. Some corrupted politicians are involved too. But no money goes to the government treasury as the scammers avoid paying income tax by fudging their books.
The PM is doing nothing to get these scammers away. I think the police just gets paid 4 times their salary from the scammers and the police ignores.

I'm 17 now, but when I was 13-14 I got my first laptop and I got a pop up- super loud alarm noise, flashing lights, all of that- telling me that I had a virus. I called the number and they put my computer in safe mode when I told them that I was only 14 and couldnt pay 600 dollars. It took me a day to get the computer out of safe mode. It took me until last year to realize that not only was that call a scam, but that people still do things like that today. Anyway, that was my scam call experience, I have too much anxiety to call them myself, but I really enjoy your videos ❤❤ I showed some of them to my grandparents and my parents, they had no idea stuff like this went on, but now I hope they are aware enough. I had a Facebook scammer once try to tell me he was a she from Colorado going to school in Texas. Claimed she was trying to become a model and wanted me to go to a website and vote for her. The website was asking for a credit card for age verification. So many red flags. The first was that it was clear this person was not American. Their English was terrible. This video reminded me of that because he copies and pastes the incorrect spelling for cancel as "cancell." Then followed with eligible spelled "elible." Adding the word "money" when it didn't belong was strike three.
Love watching these! They make me happy. I wish I had the time and training to do this for a living.

The "going to a shop" thing that the scammer was saying refers to Purchasing Power Parity. $100 can buy fewer things in the US than in India. For India, the aggregate effect is 3x. That is the reason they can make a living by scamming people for supposedly low dollar amounts.

Cant say I've had a bad experience with one since i just waste time and don't know enough to do what you do. Just so you know, us lay people really appreciate you getting back at them a bit for us!
My scam story: I was a bit younger. I'm 19 now but I was 17 when this shit happened. Okay so I had a laptop that was worth around $1000. At the time I really needed money because I wanted to put it towards a car. I decided to put it on offer up since it was quick cash. I ended up putting it for 650. Seems fair right? So I get a message from this guy that's about a state away. I told him that I wasn't going that distance obviously but he insisted on offering me an extra 100 if I could mail it to his son that's serving over seas. I agreed but only if he sent the money first since it seemed kinda fishy. He said he didn't feel comfortable doing so but would use this place I couldn't remember the name of (something union). He explained that he would send money to them and they would give me an email with 4 digits out of 6. Once the man was notified of the shipment the money would pay automatically and all I needed was the shipment receipt to claim it. After telling me a sob story about how his son is going off to war and really excited to get that pc ASAP I decided "okay let's get it ready for shipment." I let him know I was getting it ready and my dad had to run me to the store to get the shipment supplies since I didn't have my license yet. After I got all the stuff to send it and packed the PC I got an email with the 4 digits as promised. Except it was through a Google doc when I clicked the link to view it... We were on the way to the post office and I ended up telling my dad to run by Walmart first since they have an actual union thing in it instead of having to mess with anything online. I showed the lady at the counter what had happened and she said um..you don't have the full number so how could we check to see if it was legitimate? She said that you get the full number and then they give you your cash once you show them a receipt so it's safe for both people. I ended up cussing him out and saying thanks for nothing. I basically told him to fu*k a goat.
If I had done it I would have had to pay 50 bucks for overseas shipping and lost a really expensive laptop. He knew I was 17. That's how little these fu*kers care.
