Main tip while using Airalo is to keep your main sim deactivated ALL THE TIME. That's because even Roaming on the main sim card might be set to OFF it still pinches small amount of data (but unfortunately chargeable) which ends up with international roaming charges. So keep your main sim deactivated or off the phone.
Can it be used in flight mode on airplane if let say I want to listen 🎶 to music, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google, watch UA-cam videos, upload pictures 📸 and videos 📹 to canvas?
Fabulous Video...thanks! Traveling to the UK in June so will definitely purchase an Airalo eSIM. The question I have is when I have access to Free Wifi for example while in my hotel can I toggle the eSIM off to use the Free wifi therefore saving eSIM data? Thanks in advance!
That's great to hear, thank you. Oh for sure, you just have to make sure your phone is connected to WIFI and set to automatically connect. Once it connects your phone will use that instead of your eSIM data. ^Jonny
I have bought a couple Airlo plans but can’t seem to figure out how to actually use the . Customer service is extremely difficult to reach. So not for everyone.
Hello! Great work. I have a question. I am a 17-year-old Tunisian who recently registered a limited company in the UK. Can I create a Revolut business account for my business even though I am not a UK resident?
Yes you can, just be aware that people won't be able to contact you on that number and you won't have access to any 2FA that you may have setup. ^Jonny
I originally opted for Airalo, but their customer service scared the day lights out of me, to have to wait over 20 min. for assistance is un acceptable.
This is super easy to use once you install. I jumped between multiple European cities and every time I landed it just worked, connecting with the local providers automatically.
Have you seen our main review? I mention it, but you can install the widget via your phone’s Home Screen. Just long hold or press and you’ll see a plus sign. There you can edit and add widgets. ^Jonny
I disagree, obviously it isn't as easy as inserting a SIM card, but it's certainly not complicated. Given how much money people can save on data roaming, and without having to worry about buying one when they land or arrive at their destination, I think the 3-5 step process is relatively straight-forward. ^Jonny

How do you deactivate it?
Cool video, thank you ☺️
You're welcome 🙂 ^Jonny

Can I help you get setup? It’s actually very straightforward, let me know what you need help with. ^Jonny
I just purchased data only, what can you do with it and how does it work ?

Does your business have a physical presence in the UK? ^Jonny
@@Monitodotcomno it's online
question.... ive downloaded the app... do you have just data or text and calling as well? I'm from canada going to Portugal to use it?
That’ll depend on which eSIM you buy, I highly recommend watching my Airalo review and activation video. ^Jonny
Can I activate my Airalo eSIM before I arrive at my destination?
Yes for sure!
Can I just turn my primary off all together so I don’t worry about getting charged anything extra?
Yes you can, just be aware that people won't be able to contact you on that number and you won't have access to any 2FA that you may have setup. ^Jonny

It took them 24 hours to get back to me.
I think it is easier to buy a sim card on arrival and install it. It might take 5 minutes.

Nope, this is definitely easier. Tried it first time today here in Europe.

@@Monitodotcom thanx I have created one.
Can I use apps like Uber, using Airalo?
Yes for sure, but remember if you have 2FA with your mobile number then you'll need it abroad to access these apps.
Almost impossible to get mine working.
Same here and it took customer service 24 hours to get back to me and they could not sort and gave me a credit instead of refund .
Too complicated to follow. I asked for a refund and it was refused. It's a sucker's purchase. Sim cards are inexpensive at the airports.

Has always worked flawlessly for me.
