Nice catch on the post credit scene! It is always nice to get a breather episode after a tense one. Armstrong is the most loving guy, and it is always heartwarming to see him interacting with the boys. His talk with Granny Pinako is especially touching, as you see how little Ed lets his life as a State Alchemist bleed back to his family. Ed has had to be the "Adult" since way too young an age. He doesn't always make the best choices, but he does the best he can think of. I like to think that this show is about great people in a terrible world.

The creator of the manga and anime is a woman, not like most Shonen writers, I that one of the reasons this show is so well written, and every character in are the best.
This manga is extremely well written not because Hiromu Arakawa is a woman but because she is a very talented writer and storyteller. There are plenty of trash female authors just like there are plenty of trash male authors. For example Demon Slayers author is a woman as well but that manga is mediocre as hell.
The show, like most anime, was based off of a manga series. This is actually the second adaptation, there was an earlier series done in 2003 by the same studio (Bones) that branches off into an original storyline about halfway through. What's interesting about Fullmetal Alchemist though is that the manga was written and drawn by a woman, Hiromu Arakawa. The only other female mangaka I know off the top of my head is Rumiko Takahashi (Urusei Yatsura, Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2)
There are a lot of female mangakas in the industry. It's just that there are less number of them writing in the shounen demographic. Most female manga artists usually work in the Shoujo, Seinen and Josei demographic. The other shonen that I know of that are written by woman would be Noragami, Demon Slayer and Magi.

SPOILER QUESTION (for those who have seen the series/read the manga): Do you guys think the girls will change their opinion about Mr. H by the end of the series? They seem to have drawn a pretty fine line about him as of now, which is totally fair given what they know. I am curious if knowing the backstory to his actions will be enough for them to like him
SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES A lot of people go through the same feelings as they are at the beginning of this series. And basically everyone by the end of the series can agree that Hohenheim is an amazing character and probably one of the best in fmab. I don’t think it will be any different with them. They may still hold on to him being ‘not a great father’ but won’t hang on to him being a ‘bad person’ which is an important distinction
SPOILERRRRRRRR They are really empathetic and super good at understanding characters with depth like him, i think they will understand his character and his struggles. They'll probably cry for him too because he really is a sad character. I think they'll recognise he's a good person but not a good father cus they love our boys so much and will probably not let that go hahah.

Oh I can't wait for them to meet Armstrong's sister
It's episode 6 and they're so invested lol, love it.
what a wonderful surprise. i thought it would be tomorrow, i was getting ready for bed. its 5 minutes to 1 here in kenya (just 1 hour ahead of y'all in serbia) but im so wired after seeing this its like i had 5 cups of coffee. by far my favourite show you have reacted to. maybe along with avatar. (aot and breaking bad not far behind)
Lola and Milena, any idea when the SE6 "Better Call Saul" double episode ( 6x01 & 6x02 ) reaction for the season premiere episode that aired this passed Sunday will be up on UA-cam ?
SPOILER QUESTION (for those who have seen the series/read the manga):
Do you guys think the girls will change their opinion about Mr. H by the end of the series? They seem to have drawn a pretty fine line about him as of now, which is totally fair given what they know. I am curious if knowing the backstory to his actions will be enough for them to like him
SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES
A lot of people go through the same feelings as they are at the beginning of this series. And basically everyone by the end of the series can agree that Hohenheim is an amazing character and probably one of the best in fmab. I don’t think it will be any different with them. They may still hold on to him being ‘not a great father’ but won’t hang on to him being a ‘bad person’ which is an important distinction
SPOILERRRRRRRR
They are really empathetic and super good at understanding characters with depth like him, i think they will understand his character and his struggles. They'll probably cry for him too because he really is a sad character. I think they'll recognise he's a good person but not a good father cus they love our boys so much and will probably not let that go hahah.
SPOILER
its natural. ive been watching dos cavasoz and they also absolutely hated him. by episode 45 he was their favourite character
Everybody changes its mind, that's how the show it's written 😂
@@TheTororist The spoiler text must be after the 4th line (since it shows the "show more" button), you put it on the 3rd. 👍
I just finished FMAB and FMA, such good anime’s, my favorites definitely!
Buckle your seatbelts, cuz later episodes will definitely make you cry and contemplate existence…very entertaining reactions regardless
I really love this show and I’m so happy you girls are reacting to it, and yes winry and Ed are the same age Ed is just short hahahaha
"I love Roy" Yes.. I love him too
Please consider “ Monster, erased, Rainbow nisha rokubou no shichinin, Parasyte, Berserk 1997 “😃
monster is a highly recommended masterpiece👌
bro, are you blind? all of death note is already on their channel. monster is indeed god tier though.
Funny Edward is so against religion when he's literally a walking bible verse 💀No greater love
No. Science flies you to mars. Religion flies you into buildings. One is clearly superior.
@@smashbrandiscootch719 When did the bible ever condone terrorism?
@@smashbrandiscootch719 This is a low IQ take. The vast majority of scientific contribution, literary works, philosophy etc. over 1000s of years have been achieved by men and woman who believed in God and practiced religion. The very society you live in were built by religious worshippers. You don't get to come in here as an atheist waking up to a society built by religion and act like you're smarter than people like Mendel, a Christian priest.
@@smashbrandiscootch719 Religion builds hospitals and institutions of higher learning, atheism builds gulags and concentration camps.
Clearly one is superior.
@@smashbrandiscootch719 You have said this exact same thing in a couple episodes. And it's pretty clear that you cannot separate fiction from reality.
It's not that complicated the hand gestures on the opening.
All animes have a sort of obsession with hands in their opening. My wife and I almost have a drinking game about it
Give it up to the english voice actors, they made this the best anime dub ever!
Best ainme dub of all time imo is still Steins Gate, and ghost stories 😂
Soul Eater, Samurai Champloo, and Cowboy Bebop are also excellent Dubs.
"it brings joy and yet we cry" YES
Not sure how old these ladies are, but the fact that they might be old enough to have been involved in war and their parents most certainly were makes this an interesting reaction.
"They don't need to keep the level here..."
Don't worry... It stays this good the entire series.
I'd say it's an upward slope. It keeps getting better
Better call Saul season 6 has started 😍
Bradley is his name and "Fuhrer" and "King" are his two titles. Sometimes, they call him by both titles at the same time (Fuhrer-King Bradley)
I'm pretty sure his first name is actually King and his title is Fuhrer. Bradley is his last name
@@Tenngo he's refered to as "the king" later
There is a entire monolog where he describes finally getting a given name, King Bradley, and it's well, before he's Fuhrer.
Really enjoying this watchthrough, I watched this anime so long ago I had forgotten how nice it was tbh
Thank you. I didn't know I needed this re watch that much. :3
Well written characters with Trauma you say? You two might like she Ra on Netflix. Your love of personal character relationships, along with the way you understood and felt for Azula, tells me you'd really like our central girls in she ra.
Poor old doctor marcoh…
I don't know what Milena was doing with the microphone at 23:36 but I liked it 🤤
if you had watched the 2003 FMA, for us Ed&Winry shippers, it was quite a painful experience.
Maybe worse for Ed&Rose shippers if there are any.
@@Mansplainer2099-jy8ps yea i think it was just hopeless for everyone lol
ughhhh watching you guy react to it is making me want to rewatch this shoiiw AGAIN. i love your reactions and predictions so much already, i can't wait for you guys to reach certain episodes wfedhcbiuhwnfhaiçdj
I've seen this show many many times so I feel confident in saying this but every single episode of this show aside from maybe episodes 9 and 11 are easy 10/10s. That's what's so consistent about this show is that every episode is extremely good there are almost no slow episodes which serve as filler.
what happens on episode 9 and 11 I don’t remember
You should watch the full ending, the first one is really good
* w*) ahhh it's such a bless that you're reacting to my favorite (and comfort) show of all times ❤ I really love how invested you guys get with the characters and story~❤ (❁´◡`❁) !!
I think I speak for everyone that is into girls when I say that it's impossible not to develop at least a little crush for Winry xD
BETTER CALL SAUL is out. Can't wait to see your reactions 😁
You girls are gonna lose your minds in the future if you love it so much already omg!! I'm so excited!! You're gonna love it
Please watch Severance. It's right up in your alley.
