Love mine....bought it for 99 bucks shipped via amazon. Put a super low eng brushless system in it. Greased the diffs. Added a upper brace to prevent flex. Good little buggy.
That is a great little car, really tough relatively cheap, and parts are inexpensive. I’ve upgraded the receiver, ESC, motor and servo in mine, it’s amazing.
Honestly, you could kit this thing out with parts from the car it's based on, the XRAY XB4, and some budget stock-class running gear and it'll still be cheaper than a full competition kit.
Right by the valley mall buddy! Me and a friend are building a huge one out near Bumblebee as well. Along with a pit bike track. Mostly for jumping trucks and bashing, but will be a legit race track as well
@@FivoNine Awesome! I just bought a udr and a bunch of upgrades for it, will be here in a couple weeks. Been wanting one for a couple years, so I'll hopefully be able to get out there more often to get working on it. I'm in Hayden, so if you know anyone with some property closer between us and wants a fun track, I will design and build it for the price of letting me drive it lol. My mom made me tear mine out before I moved out of her house back in the day 😭
By the time you tune this thing and add the necessary parts you could even get an Associated. Good for bashing, bad on track. I own a Schumacher KC Laydown, don't try to get a few more extra clicks for that link man. Keep it real...
If you are just starting out, keep your expectations low because this is a disposable toy. To upgrade this you will quickly spend a lot more than its price tag, a lot more.
After the 144001 car of the year , wltoys made the flop of the year with that 104001. Thank you for the melted wing, that was a good lol. Long live to 144001.
@@FivoNine The new car seems so weak and not worth the price to upgrade. Then the price is crazy regarding the 144001 you can buy 51€ when on promotion with aliexpress coupon. I am pretty sure they doubled or tripled their margins.
i love this toy friend

can you give a link to the brace to prevent flexing ? i like the car but i'm afraid to order it since it flexes a lot
@@darkki94 I actually 3d printed it!
@@DomVito87 oh ok , i might get it and design braced to be made of metal from a friend.
@@darkki94
You can fit the ones for the XRAY XB4 on it, this car's a cheap clone of that platform.
Great video … have serious track envy … looks so good.
How fast can you get it round the Popalong rc challenge … could be a contender
Thank you, just found your channel and subbed, great content 😁👍

Great car to start with 😁 I love it

I was pleased for $105 on one of ours and it works well. A few changes and it will be fun! Thanks!
Im hoping to add a brushless system this summer 😁
The Hank!!!!!! Spent a lot of time out there with RCCCS.
Its a awesome place 😀
Still need to come out a run with ya! It's been too hot recently but that new track looks good! Drive by it everyday for work💪
Yea its been too hot recently, its going down slowly now, message me on Instagram whenever you go out there 😁
01:22 Wow... everything is perfect Dude 👍
That's a nice size track, got it all to yourself. Nice! 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Nice i have the wltoys 124019! I want this one too!
Awesome video! Does really well on dirt for a carpet buggy. The merch looks epic! Great job on the vid and the merch!
Thanks!
Man that spoiler😂😂
Nice vid boss. Where is this track at? My buddy and I have been looking for a track in the area. Looks sweet.. I'm up in the northside, 5 mile area.
Thanks boss, this is just off the freeway on Sullivan exit in Spokane Valley, Hank Perry Rc Park

Nice I would love to check the track out, just recently got in pit bikes 😁

Hi fivo nice video as Always great wltoy 😁👋
Thanks 👍
The battery, is that a soft case?
Not ROAR approved, so not legal for competitive use?
Yes its a soft case
how do you find the gravel and dirt with the brushed motor? Would it not be fried pretty quickly?
So far all the brushed Wtoys buggies I have, have been pretty good on dirt without issues
Omg that spoiler! I’m surprised it went 26mph. I’ve been seeing 22-24 mostly. Good video though!!!
same I was pretty surprised, might of been because the spoiler was so aerodynamic 😂
@@FivoNine LOL! I’ve since upgraded mine to brushless and DAMN shes fast
If it was a 111 out how hot was that motor after using it
Didn't check but im sure it was hot 😂
Theres a twist thingy on the side so you can go faster
It's their first 10th scale 4wd buggy.
Hello, could you tell me the wheelbase? Thank you
Need a 3660 brushless 4700kv be nice
Has nothing to do with this video but... Xmaxx or the 1/5 8s RTR BLX Outcast? 🤔
Im not really sure just because I never owned a Outcast 😁 Wish I did 😄
@@FivoNine well went with 8s outcast exb roller. Going to be putting the 800kv 160esc setup in it 😎💪lol
Nice video
Thanks

Its definitely not the fastest but I think its a good buggy to start with if your just trying out the hobby
This or 124019? For upgrading
I would go with this just because it is bigger size and I feel like its easier to control it
Gotcha, thanks!
Slow like Tamiya days. Good for kids and beginners practicing in respect
Yup I agree, good to practice for kids, too slow to actually hit the jumps 😄
Lower the suspension strength on the back its bouncing and giving you less control and speed
Thanks for the tip 👍👍
Your welcome

Yes I wish they threw a brushless motor on it than it would of been a great car, its a great car just a little under powered
