Bidun Esam is one that I have a love/hate relationship with. I had issues with something in the drydown too. However, I'm finding it's actually suiting my skin better in warmer weather. I've put it up for sale a couple of times in the past year then changed my mind. 😂

@@SiminShaikh I have the Bidun gift set with gel and oil, sadly it doesn't have a production date, either on the box or bottles. I just know I've had it about 18 months so hopefully yours will improve. It doesn't get that hot in the UK, we're not even having much summer here! Edit: if you find a scent you like from Ahmed Al Mahgribi that they also do in the body gel I highly recommend them, they glide on like silk and feel amazing. 👌 My daughter has the Little Hearts perfume and gel but she's sort of over the whole erba pura era too.

I love Musk Pure's bottle! 😍 I'm not sure about the scent because I'm scared of musk perfumes too. But mine is because of Narciso Rodriguez. Whenever I smell from the nozzle of their musk line, it smells like pee. I just got a decant of Anab from Ahmed Al Maghribi recently. I used it last week and sprayed 6x around my neck and chest. Big mistake because my neck turned completely red. 😅 On the upside, it was soooo long-wearing! It stayed on my hair until the next day. They say that the house makes great oud fragrances too. Maybe you should try them as well. Plus the Gardenia and Rose Noir, which are pretty famous by now.

I was sooooo attracted to purchase La Fille Berlin coz it was available very economically here in the UAE. I dont know why I did not just purchase it. Maybe coz I am not much of a rose fan. Oh man, there are so many perfumes that smell detergent, or lye or cleaning product and these turn me off the most. Although the Bidun Esam opening is sooooo beautiful. I hope it macerates and the lye scent disappears from it lol ❤❤❤

I just don't gravitate towards that DNA coz in UAE it is a very common composition you know. For example, Sehr Sheila by Swiss Arabian is a quality dupe (not exact but very close). Qasamat Mohraf Rasasi is a very potent one. They all smell similar due to the Rose, Oud and Patchouli combination.

Hi my Hun, wonderful to see you review Ahmed Al Maghribi perfumes , I almost bought Cherry at the EOFY sale but decided to be strong. Still could not resist 4 sales but these were scents I had my eye on for some time. I must admit that there are certain rose perfumes I adore like Amethyst (one of my all time favourite of perfumes and SOTD, perfect for this icy cold day today) and others. I think it all depends on how it is done, for example Mohra Silky Rose is one that is very different which I love wearing on warm days. But I remember Bidun Esam being on a super sale here, so cheap and something just screamed at me "NOOOOOO" and I now know why. I wish I had taken Cherry though, never thought to associate this with Miss Dior Cherie. Wow, can someone tell me why they seem to discontinue or change formulations of much loved scents? @@SiminShaikh Yeah, I was checking it out when it was on sale and just thought here's another Cherry Bomb 🤣BUT when you started talking and said the name and said what it reminded you of, I was what.... why did not even think of Miss Cherie, believe my poor brain is filled with too much pea soup which sadly has gotten worse rather than improved due to the new medication. I actually tried to make my usual sourdough rye bread today (which I thought I could do in my sleep with eyes closed or so) and wondered why the dough was not rising. Daaa ,I forgot to add the yeast. Now second try, trying to get it ready for dinner with home made carrot lentil soup with a hint of chili ( so we can warm up 🤣) . I basically feel like I am sleepwalking and not in good way, but wearing Amethyst has woken me up a bit. 😅. I must say I hope this side effect improves soon as I still got a migraine last night but this was after 3 migraine free days, so the new meds must be working. Although now I forget mid sentence what I was saying 🤣😂, what am I doing here , I wonder ? LOL. I am pretty determined now to be on a proper perfume buying break. I really have no space left in the perfume cupboards and that is with decluttering. ( 3 got a good new home with friends who seemed to like these. ) Yes, sometimes that voice that says NOOOO is the right instinct , as you said , Bidum Esam would not be my cup of tea at all, when you talked about it, I knew it would have been totally wrong for me. But sometimes you think the little voice saying No does not know best 😏 and most times I regret it when I do this. But the Cherry perfume just went on sale when I bought Gerry a lovely scent and I was thinking will I , won't I? And thought sensibly, no, I still have 4 on their way to me so no ENOUGH IS ENOUGH for now. I wish you could send some heat here , it is cold, never felt the cold as much as this year and my cough hates the cold, but heat is worse. If only we could share the weather. (Mind you if it does get colder I would love to see snow once more on the street. I will make a snowman for sure ⛄🌨) So much love to you , babe xoxo

Heya Hun ❤ Musk Pure does not have either. Jlo Glow was detergent and NR Her (which is also one of my fav perfumes) is a sweet powdery one. Musk Pure smells half powdery and half lotion like. I hope this makes some sense. I have saved my NR Her White Cube because it makes me drift into la la land. I have yet to come across anything musk perfume that smells like it ❤❤❤

Where'd you buy it?? Do yourself a favor... don't buy fragrances from Amazon, or eBay. There are way too many fakes being sold on those sites. Many sellers are NOT approved sellers by the brands.

I do love a good rose perfume, La Fille de Berlin Serge Lutens being one of my absolute favourites so I thought I’d love Biden Esam yet I only sort of like it too.. I think you’ve nailed why not, it could be the lye for me too! It’s been resting a couple of months, might be time to try again :)
I was sooooo attracted to purchase La Fille Berlin coz it was available very economically here in the UAE. I dont know why I did not just purchase it. Maybe coz I am not much of a rose fan.
Oh man, there are so many perfumes that smell detergent, or lye or cleaning product and these turn me off the most. Although the Bidun Esam opening is sooooo beautiful. I hope it macerates and the lye scent disappears from it lol ❤❤❤

I put some on amongst other things before I left the house this morning and a few hours later I did like what was left on my arm but not sure if I’m ready for a full wear of it just yet! Ahmed Al Maghribi is my favorite house and Bidun Esam my favorite perfume! I don’t get the soapiness, that’s interesting. Thanks for showing these, I haven’t found anything that compares to their density and quality.

Irida is 50 dollars or euro in Europe. Although I hope this perfumes are not going higher because i get bored very easy and want other scents. I want to afford them. Its a hobby.

Hi Simin, a very nice haul. In my country, it is very difficult to buy anything from Ahmed al Maghribi but I found a little used Bidun Esam abd I am very happy with it, although I paid above 40$ for my bottle. But it was worth it as I am a rose lover❤❤❤

Yea Bidun Esam will be such a big hit for everyone who loves Rose perfumes. USD40 is a little steep. I wonder how and why the logistics are so poor still for Middle Eastern Perfume brands. I mean if something is for USD20 here, it should max be USD30 there will the logistics overheads.

Actually there are quite a few Rose D'Arabie dupes from ME houses. I just don't gravitate towards that DNA coz in UAE it is a very common composition you know. For example, Sehr Sheila by Swiss Arabian is a quality dupe (not exact but very close). Qasamat Mohraf Rasasi is a very potent one. They all smell similar due to the Rose, Oud and Patchouli combination.

Hi my Hun, wonderful to see you review Ahmed Al Maghribi perfumes , I almost bought Cherry at the EOFY sale but decided to be strong. Still could not resist 4 sales but these were scents I had my eye on for some time. I must admit that there are certain rose perfumes I adore like Amethyst (one of my all time favourite of perfumes and SOTD, perfect for this icy cold day today) and others. I think it all depends on how it is done, for example Mohra Silky Rose is one that is very different which I love wearing on warm days. But I remember Bidun Esam being on a super sale here, so cheap and something just screamed at me "NOOOOOO" and I now know why. I wish I had taken Cherry though, never thought to associate this with Miss Dior Cherie. Wow, can someone tell me why they seem to discontinue or change formulations of much loved scents? @@SiminShaikh Yeah, I was checking it out when it was on sale and just thought here's another Cherry Bomb 🤣BUT when you started talking and said the name and said what it reminded you of, I was what.... why did not even think of Miss Cherie, believe my poor brain is filled with too much pea soup which sadly has gotten worse rather than improved due to the new medication. I actually tried to make my usual sourdough rye bread today (which I thought I could do in my sleep with eyes closed or so) and wondered why the dough was not rising. Daaa ,I forgot to add the yeast. Now second try, trying to get it ready for dinner with home made carrot lentil soup with a hint of chili ( so we can warm up 🤣) . I basically feel like I am sleepwalking and not in good way, but wearing Amethyst has woken me up a bit. 😅. I must say I hope this side effect improves soon as I still got a migraine last night but this was after 3 migraine free days, so the new meds must be working. Although now I forget mid sentence what I was saying 🤣😂, what am I doing here , I wonder ? LOL. I am pretty determined now to be on a proper perfume buying break. I really have no space left in the perfume cupboards and that is with decluttering. ( 3 got a good new home with friends who seemed to like these. ) Yes, sometimes that voice that says NOOOO is the right instinct , as you said , Bidum Esam would not be my cup of tea at all, when you talked about it, I knew it would have been totally wrong for me. But sometimes you think the little voice saying No does not know best 😏 and most times I regret it when I do this. But the Cherry perfume just went on sale when I bought Gerry a lovely scent and I was thinking will I , won't I? And thought sensibly, no, I still have 4 on their way to me so no ENOUGH IS ENOUGH for now. I wish you could send some heat here , it is cold, never felt the cold as much as this year and my cough hates the cold, but heat is worse. If only we could share the weather. (Mind you if it does get colder I would love to see snow once more on the street. I will make a snowman for sure ⛄🌨) So much love to you , babe xoxo

Ah that's so weird I was thinking to ask you if you could do aome Ahmed Al Maghribi reviews!!! I bought Rose Noir which is pretty, well blended and really good quality performance wise but the price here in UK are actually really reasonable. I was wondering to try some others.

100%. Amber Oud Gold is a very close dupe to Erba Pura (nearly identical). Although I don't own it, for obvious reasons lol, I did smell it in the shop. Needless to say I knew I did not want it ❤

Musk Pure does not have either. Jlo Glow was detergent and NR Her (which is also one of my fav perfumes) is a sweet powdery one. Musk Pure smells half powdery and half lotion like. I hope this makes some sense.
I have saved my NR Her White Cube because it makes me drift into la la land. I have yet to come across anything musk perfume that smells like it ❤❤❤
Maison Alhambra has the NR for her dupe. The bottles look almost the same as those of NR. I don’t know how they smell though.

Yes I did review it and unfortunately it was not for me. It had that cleaning product scent which I cannot tolerate. But the internet was divided on this one. Some people got a caramel perfume and the rest like myself got the sickly cleaning product scent. I hope you find it on my channel coz I know it’s a pretty old video ♥️

Where'd you buy it?? Do yourself a favor... don't buy fragrances from Amazon, or eBay.
There are way too many fakes being sold on those sites. Many sellers are NOT approved sellers by the brands.

Not even a bit. Bidum Essam i exactly like Rose Syrup while Amethyst is a very complex perfume consisting Oud, Rose and manyyyy other ingredients. I hope this helps babe ❤

I know those dumb Rose scented soaps!!! THAT is "old lady" rose!!! That is what made me think I hated the scent of rose!! I've realized its just that nasty fake rose soap smell I can't stand. 👍🏻
