I noticed that the brothers always looked out for the other's woman...well, I only saw Michael act this way with Eva. Even during the prison riots, Mike and Eva were outside waiting for John like real in-laws...ahhh if only.
John walks in saying "Speech girl" and with a glance, realizes something's wrong and is beside her, instantly, asking what happened. Then he yells at Michael for details. So loving and genuinely protective as opposed to when Natalie creates another crisis and John's expression is like, "Here we go again, same ol', same ol' crap!" That s/l is enough to gag a maggot. But Jovan's s/l had such depth of real emotion, love, conflict, etc. It's why these clips are still viewed 8 years later. .

The show would probably be still on if they had let these two stay together. Natalie never grew up. It was one lie after another. She was not a woman. She was a child. John felt like he always had to rescue her. Evangeline did not need to be rescued. She was a strong,independent woman. Natalie wish she could have been half the woman Evangeline was. they ruined thwe show putting john back with natalie. John and Evangeline was a grown up love!

REG/ME had the best chemistry, had fun and really enjoyed being around each other. Damn, OLTL, writers and producers they truly had something truly unique in their hands. Shame on them.

Even their sex scene is really that all the writers got didn't blow it out the water. OLTL on HULU was ridiculous and disgusting. It was dirty and the story heavily focused on an older Matthew rejecting his child. It was terrible.
