Great walkthrough. Love your enthusiasm. You’re the best.
Beautiful boat, great quality throughout, another fine video walkthrough Ian. Thank you.
Thats a beautiful boat mate , great job on the presentation as well
Ian .. at 3:37 you say that is a deck step .. and inside you say and we see that is actually a keel step mast ;)
Is this the same boat that James from Sailing Zingaro bought? She's a beauty!
Fast video but nice and clear explanation.... Very good. 👍 👍
All, it's courses for horses. Not sure you can comment on the sailing ability unless you have sailed a C57. Read the proper journalists write ups before you express your opinion or go out on one. These are very stiff boats and actually sail well as you would expect from the pen of Cossutti. This boat is designed to sail the med in comfort and accommodate family and friends. Would I take one round the world, probably not. The boats you refer to below are great world cruisers but offer a fraction of the accommodation or leisure areas which is what you need at anchor . Remember most med cruisers sail 10% and 90% at anchor hence the development of these types of boats. You have to look at them in context.
wow great crew cabin ...XD
pretty cosy after taking a big s..t i guess
what is the starting price for the Bavaria C38?
Ever wonder why there are so many great, good deal, lightly used boats on the Market.
Bayern 😎
How much
Jimmy Brokos The introductory value price is $826,329.00
Too fast sir. I am wanting to get all the details to make a purchase.
These boats are priced reasonably for a reason - their build quality is crap. Getting replacement parts is a nightmare. This is a boat to avoid.
Magnus Berntsson is run from a late model Bavaria. No wonder they went bankrupt! There are some really awesome features but they can’t execute with quality. Run the heck away from these boats. Buy a Hanse instead
Lewis G. , Hanse really isn’t much better. In some regards they are worse. For example Bavaria uses foam core, Hanse uses balsa. But I will agree customer service is non-existent, and uber beamy nice-ish interiors at the expense of sail ability needs to end.
Magnus Berntsson , good choices. But with a name like Magnus it’s a shame your aren’t looking at Magnus Rassy’s boats.
Magnus Berntsson having delivered factory Amels stateside I would never own one of them either. They’re school busses, they don’t point at all, and the new ones are unbalanced
Scott West There is nothing wrong with a cored hull. The problem comes when people don't mount stuff properly. If you need to mount somethign, you drill a bigger hole, fill with epoxy, and then mount in the hardened epoxy. Many people don't do this and you wind up with a big problem.
So many things in these boats just blow my mind with their lack of common sense: a boat very much made to single handed sailing or short handed, yet you have a wasted hole called the "crew quarters" that is completely unusable. Another is that most people put the emergency raft in the last place they can reach it when they are in scary and super bad waters: "out front"!!! A dinghy garage that does not fit the dinghy anymore unless it is partially deflated or you have a tiny dinghy.
On and on......
I see sharp corners and the interior looks cheaply built. I’m not impressed.
No one wants to get this boat because their build is crap. Avoid Bavaria yachts
