- We went back to Pyramid Lake for another late March fly fishing adventure. Once again, we took Reagan and Tessas Winnebago Solis camper van and Bean trailer. Last year I had the Bean to myself, but this year my buddy Dan tagged along and shared the trailer with me. While there, we hooked up with my buddy Walter who had been there for several days before us. We all got on the board and had a great time. Thanks for tagging along on another episode of adventure time. Be sure to give it a thumbs up, leave a comment and subscribe if you haven't already 🎣😁
Quite the trip! Glad everyone got to hold a fish, and that's cool you ran into Walter.
Yeah, it was fun. Walter definitely made a difference 😁
Awesome trip! 👌 😊
It was indeed--fun times at Pyramid
Glad I ran into you guys out there! Really fun fishing with the UT crew!🙌🏻
Haha, there wouldn't be much of a video had you not shown up 👍🎣
Awesome fishing trip and a few beauties li the net too team, thumbs up and greetings from NZ,, Tony.
Those similar to the size of fish you find in New Zealand 😁
Nicely done. Went there for first time in February and it was rough. I only caught one. Nice video
It's been tough for everyone apparently. My one buddy just spent five days there and got skunked.
Everyone on the board! We met great people who kindly shared Pyramid knowledge, that was a good trip.
Good times in the Solis and Bean 😁. Fortunately, Walter was there 🎣
That last fish was colored up nice
Yeah, it was a pretty one 👍It was a fun trip
Nice job guys! Looks like a great trip!
It was fun even though we only got into a few fish
Always look forward to your Lahontan trips. Nice monsters caught
It wasn't fast action but fun none the less
show us the two tone size 12-14 red black fly that was working! and what weight switch rods?
Sorry for the late reply. I'll try to sho the two tone in a future video. It's just a half black half red chironomid with a copper wire and copper bead head---black on bottom red on top
Great video! Are those all cutthroat you are catching?
Yep, all cutthroat----some summit strain and pilot peaks. Pilots are the original Lahontan Cutts
Hey Howler, Looking for a bit of advice. I have a day this week to get out with one of my friends for a full day of fishing. Not looking for any secret spots, but do you have any general recommendations on where there is good action within an hour of SLC right now? Strawberry ice off fishing? Or any other lakes you might recommend for some trout right now?
I thought i responded to you months ago but it showing I did not, so I apologize for the late reply. I guess it's a little late to help you out with the trip with your buddy 😕
Magnificent share
Thanks Anthony 👍🎣. I was a fun trip.
When do you think boulder will be ready?
Some of the lower elevation lakes already are
