Ventus has the roughest early game imo, he has to protect snow white in the first world he visits, and has the toughest of the tree starter bosses but doesnt slack later on
If you do decide to play Demon souls, my build was spell sword except instead of leveling up strength or dex I leveled up luck to use the sword you get from killing Lady Astraea. Completely overpowered for new game and new game plus
