Markets look like 2015-16. Probably going back to all time highs, but will probably go sideways until fed signals rate cut, Recently sold 25% of my $285k portfolio comprising of plummeting stocks that were recommended by certain financial UA-camrs, quite devastating!
not their fault, the stock market seems to be more of a casino for gamblers now than a place for investors. even if you were averaging down on ailing companies, its your duty to properly research, buying the dip does not guarantee a rebound

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it’s ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
Yes, a good number of folks are raking in huge 6 figure gains in this downtrend, but such strategies are mostly successfully executed by folks with in depth market knowledge.
Thank you for the video but now i am curious if the inflation is low why does fed have to cut rates? Answering my own question, keeping this if any one is curious. Higher interest rates are generally a policy response to rising inflation. Conversely, when inflation is falling and economic growth slowing, central banks may lower interest rates to stimulate the economy.
Videos about NIO stock are big right now. They have the new EV car line called Onvo launching in a matter of days and a large short interest. DO you think that could trigger a short squeeze soon?
Do you think it's a good time to consider selling some stocks, or is it better to hold onto them for the long term? I’m considering rebalancing my $2M portfolios, So I'm curious about the best strategies to invest this year.
CPI looked good. Inflation is now normal range. Overall the economy is still holding well. So, not expecting any big surprises here. Continued volatility should be expected. Not expecting a recession this year because of growth and strong jobs. Just stick to the plan with the market we have. It has been a great market for those of us paying attention. Cheers!
Nobody knows for sure if or when, but markets don't move in a straight line for long. They tend to overreact in both directions. Right now bond traders are pricing in more aggressive rate cuts than the economy is showing. So, at some point a temporary pullback is likely IMO. Good luck!
Awesome levelheaded commentary. Thank you! I also banked just over $500 for the day 🎉 on spy put I had from yesterday and two calls I opened on the spy after watching your live stream.. because I felt I knew were the sell side liquidity level was and then being able to open the calls at the right time by waiting for the set up using a fair value gap on the three minute.. then again maybe I just got lucky😅

I like your channel, but how are you using CNBC for inflation data? Isn't there a more impartial and reputable source for information than partisan media?
Hey Z, I remember maybe 7-10 days ago you suspected a pretty down end of the year, but in this video you suspect a choppy October and than end of the year rally. Obviously we can’t predict the future, but has your opinion changed on the end of the year?
Not exactly what I said but ok. And all things aside, new data was released yesterday. I don’t get how unreasonable and unrealistic most people are. As if you can’t modify your views with the release of continuous data. The internet is so funny.
It seems like such an inadequate system overall, I mean we are either suffering from inflation or not enough jobs- or high rates or some sh+ who the f designed this whole debacle?
I'm in the same camp as you, I think we can't avoid a recession. I don't really have a solid answer as to why the employment data would all of a sudden stop its current trajectory. The lag effects are going to continue to keep coming. It's same old story.. the Fed has a terrible track record of so called "soft landings".

The 2.5% is based on current prices. Inflation is the rate of increase which is slowing. Does not mean prices will go down to levels experienced 2/3 years ago.

We really need deflation, it’s going to hurt short term, however it best for long term.
lol thats what we thought inflation was supposed to do
No. You don't want deflation. A mild recession is normal and can be a healthy reset, but widespread deflation is not helpful.
