Tobias is a great actor, if I saw him in real life I think I’d run the other way! 😂 black jack is so evil that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see tobias as himself, which really proves how great he plays the role
I don’t 100% agree that I would run away from Tobias, he was playing two roles and he played Frank after Claire went back through the stones…I think it would have destroyed Frank if he had been told that his uncle was not the hero he’d been led to believe
Mel Gibson cannot hold a candle to Sam in acting, for sure. But also, as an overall kind, caring, intelligent and nuanced human being, Sam far surpasses Mel Gibson. Ugh...There's no comparison at all and I am sorry that it occurred to anyone to compare Sam to Gibson. I would LOVE to see a REMAKE of Braveheart, starring Sam Heughan as Braveheart!
Sam Heughan has a lot of resemblance to tthe late Christopher Reeves They both are muscular men, huge and tough..but have that little romantic quality in them somewhere.

Cant believe that someone would actually prefer to play blackjack randall. That was the most perverted, sadistic, disgusting, shocking, horrific, sickening thing I've ever seen. Jaime is still having nightmares about it inthe 8th book. No Therapists back then. Sorry. I thinks thats what they call a Spoiler Alert? Actually I didnt watch that part in the show, I read it in the book, and saw bits and pieces in these musical videos that people put out.Dont understand that either. why they would want to watch that horror over and over. Makes you wonder!
It is an actor’s dream to be given such a challenging role and then play it to perfection and prove your acting chops to the world. These kinds of complex characters are what inspires actors. That’s where Tobias is coming from when he says he prefers playing Jack to Frank...
They were challenging scenes to watch but the quality of acting and emotion played out was outstanding and therefore some of the best scenes of the show
I think it would be an great twist for the 7th season would be that some how time has been changed, and Claires future husband did not die, but instead finds out how to go through the Stone to the past. So that everyone would be shocked and think it is Black Jack when he arrives. They could have her husband turn as evil as Black Jack when he gets to the past and finds Claire and Jamie together. Just a thought. No one would expect that at all. He was a good "evil character" and I'd love to see him "return", so to speak.
