PLEASE READ MY RESPONSE BEFORE THIS MIGHTY MIDGET GETS BURIED IN SNOW AGAIN......IN NH😳🙄😂❄️👹🤣
I absolutely love the desert, Arizona, Nevada , New Mexico, yes please! I’m from Massachusetts so whenever I go out there I never want to go back ! It’s such a stark contrast to home and it’s beautiful!
Wow amazing rock hounding very beautiful
I absolutely love seeing the contrast between your Arizona trip 3 years ago and this one. You can see how much more comfortable you are in front of the camera. ❤ great video!
Now that's definitely how to beat the winter blues!!! Awesome finds, Taylor! I can't wait for part 2 and for when you cut into some of those beauties to fuether expose the colours and bands!! Have a great weekend
That is so awesome. Lots of beautiful finds. Can't wait to see the second half. Looks like you had a great time.
Come witness the excitement of looking for agate materials... great results, quite a lot and uniquely unique... greetings of success always
How much fun was that? Rock hounding in the desert! A bit different then home. No snow! lol. But wow! What a bunch of beauties you guys found! Those are going to be so much fun to cut! I cant wait for part two to see what else you guys found! Thanks Taylor!
Glad to be back to see these beautiful Arizona rock shows, interesting trips and hunting, all of them will be treated with regards 👍👍🇲🇨👌
We have spent the last 5 winters boondocking in Arizona and New Mexico. I have never found anything close to what you did! Can’t wait to see them sliced and polished!
I really enjoyed this video! Can’t wait for part 2. You found some nice agates and crystals ❤.
Part two will be just as fun, if not better, much more picky in that one!
That was fun to put it mildly. My dad in law was a rock hound. He brought home some of the coolest rocks I've ever seen.
So much fun!
👍👍👍👍👍Cool! Great finds! The expedition for agate was a success
“Where right here”! Ah you’re killing me 😂 love what AZ has to offer.
😂 AZ ROCKS!
It's not a secret to locals.
Watching you do your rock hounding brought back such wonderful memories of my dad, who was also a rock hound and lapidary. I remember that he’d take us camping and we would find some of the coolest rocks! Some of my personal favorite places were in Texas (variety of different places), Washington state (mostly close to the Canadian border), and Minnesota (near Lake Superior). So much fun!
I'm down in AZ right now rockhounding, the weather is so awesome right now.... 65 - 75 every day and perfect! Going to saddle mountain and Quartzsite next 3 days 😊
Beautiful finds! Looking forward to part two.
What a great haul. Gorgeous finds 😍😍 eagerly awaiting part 2 😊😊
Welcome to AZ! Glad you enjoyed your trip. Recently went rockhounding for some Cave Creek red jasper. They're in the tumbler right now and can't wait for the results!
Hi English lassy here just wanted to say love your videos could watch them all day love your humour and enthusiasm, going through it just now and agates are my favourite things to find so with all that combined your a real tonic and your videos are therapy for me thank you so much 🌅❤
There are great rocks almost statewide! Do be careful picking up rocks, though. ALWAYS turn them over to check for scorpions, before picking the loose ones up, off the ground. Happy hunting!
Looks awesome, can't wait to see it :)
Looks like a great time. My wife and I just started rock tumbling and are going to head up to the north shore of Superior soon.
That looked fun. Can’t wait to see some reveals. 👍👍
Wow! Cool finds Taylor!
Amazing finds! Can't wait to see these cut open.
Very cool beginning. 👑❤️🌎 I'm excited for this video. I'm mineral Oiling up some Agates and Chalcedony. Beautiful stuff. 🥰
How FUN was that?
Looks like you found some seam agates ? Yes? Do you know the History of how all the agate arrived down on the flats? There was one shot of the Beautiful Mountains. Looking forward to part 2/3 !!!
Home of rattlesnake gila monsters and tanantulas! Lovely dessert though
All those beautiful rocks, love the awesome colors. I live in California and would love to have at least a hint of where you found them
Please reply with a hint I would appreciate it I’m new to rockhounding
Hey....I am in NH....and we are about to get ANOTHER FOOT of snow......any chance you could teach this east coast prospector WHO'S ONLY 4'9" AND ABOUT TO BURIED....AGAIN....THAT TRICK OF SNOW.....NO SNOW?! PPPLEASE?!🤣🤣❄️
#MOTHERNATURESTINKS 🤣❄️
Soo fun!! Agates are awesome!!! I went agate hunting myself this morning! Most of the agates I find are dendritic and white but sometimes yellow and amber colored
How do you know when you have a good rock? I've been infatuated with picking up rocks for about a year now or so.
Next time come to my neck of the desert for some Beautiful chalcedony and jasper, geodes etc around the Oatman area..so glad you had so much fun with so awesome finds. I moved here from Wisconsin 6 years ago, absolutely love it and have found some great material
Hi, I live up in MN. Seems like Arizona is a hotspot for great rock hunting. I'm going have plan a trip there to find some stuff. Where is the best place to look, closer to the mountains or near them or are they also out in the open desert area.
One of your next stops needs to be keokuk iowa. You will love it. I’m there now, so many amazing geodes and fossils and I found a lot of agate action too!
I love learning new things!
In Phoenix you're only 3 hours from my Local Geode Beds.
Nothing like the area around Quartzite.
I was in Arizona coming back home and I picked up a few rocks in Flagstaff 🥰
Awesome finds!
AZ is great for finding different specimens and especially if your from the Midwest. Nothing like that back home
😂😅 Awesome intro!! Fantastic finds! Can't wait for Part 2!😊❤
You found some REALLY nice ones! I haven't seen the whole video yet but it looks like you have some promising ones.
If I were to move out of Michigan Arizona is where I’d move too. I love that state. ❤ Beautiful rocks!! Awe, a cute lizard.
I never thought you could find agates in the desert!
There's millions in Arizona. Not exaggerating one bit. Millions of agates just near saddle mountain and burro canyon.
Did you get a chance to check out the Black Hills Rockhounding area in Safford, AZ? Tons of beautiful chalcedony and geods
Well you started out close to Phoenix, Sun City close enough👍
Well, thanks. Now I have to go to Arizona as well :D
😂🙌
Just subscribed! watching from Bemidji MN. I'll have to come out to Duluth sometime to rockhound, but in the meantime, keep up the great vids!
Cool seeing you in my part of the country. We have alot of cool rocks out here.
You would have to hunt there in the winter!
well Taylor, I hope you brought an extra suitcase for all that lol! if only LSA’s were so plentiful hey?😂
Living in Wisconsin I know the snow struggle! We are in blizzard conditions right now (3/11/23 4:30pm cst)
This reminds me of when I go rock hunting! But I have a wagon 😁.
Looks like a spot I know very well nice finds🤘
Did you ever make the after videos polished and cut and ect for your Arizona hauls ????
Soon
Where is this place? Looking to go rockhounding and would love to know a good place to start. Your video is great! Can you recommend a lapidary saw and sander? Thanks!
Hope you took some home to cut and polish. Looks like you found some neat stuff. 👌👍
You know it!
Hey it's beautiful up here north of Phoenix. 😁 about 20 min to an awesome place called geode hill. Maybe on your next visit to Arizona.
Where exactly is this? Anywhere near Prescott or Sedona? Going to Utah and AZ Monday, if you know any places I can go. This is on my bucket list! Gotta get a saw! Do you ever find gold? Any help is much appreciated!
Just got back from wintering in Arizona. Brought back some good rocks 327 lbs. Lol. Green, metallic maybe copper
I can believe it!!
Can’t wait to see these cut
Looks like you are finding Rhyolite. I always laugh when people say they can't find anything in the Arizona desert. I think it is because they go in the Summer when it is 106 degrees and they are only looking for 5 minutes. 🤣👀. Happy hounding, have a safe trip.
What is the location of this place ?
Id like to know as well
@@tcphx6089
Awesome stuff! Off Aguas calliente? Looks like the Buckeye Hills
What a haul! Some for cutting and polishing, others for tumbling?
Absolutely!
On trips like this you should bring a garden wagon, that way you can toss your buckets in and not wear yourself out
I've lived in Safford and been finding theser as far back as i remember. I couldn't believe it when i heard they were a popular stone people were actually paying for. There are spots were you can find 50+ in less than an hour and other spots you wont find one. The blackness of these is in a league of its own once you see one youll definitely know it. Ive got so many i would love to get rid of
Where should I look, closer to the mountains vs the open desert? I wonder if certain parts of Arizona contain more stuff or it's everywhere.
Now you see why I collect in AZ
Nice!
FANTASTIC VIDEO BRO!! Would LOVE to know the GPS location at some point! BRAVO!!
Thanks man!
@AgateDad lots of great minerals in our wonderful state, do you share any info on the location here, or even general area? My husband had a stroke 2 yrs ago and we have to only go to the flatter ground locations, which this place looks fairly flat for the most part. Would really appreciate any specifics, can send private message, but any info is great. Thanks!
If you ever want some good quartz crystals and not near Payson with possible bears with you, let me know. You won't go home empty handed!
Where they n Phoenix did you go?
very pretty
Very beautiful.
How do you get all those home?
I put some in my backpack and some in my luggage. Family will bring the other half for me later
What part of Az was this?!
Dangit..only caught the replay. 😡🤬
We will try to do another premiere for part 2 next Friday 😊
Nice
It was 116 degrees tge day I landed in phoenix
Wow. You didn't even have to dig.
Not once!
Very jealous
That black rock could be an asteroid?
I don’t think so, it has chalcedony characteristics to it
The mountain in the background looks like C mountain
Never heard of that one
@@AgateDad when you were dumping your bucket, it was behind you, looks like a volcano. I live down the road from that mountain
Where is this located at?
Sonoran dessert?
❤
How do you clean them?
I just used water and a scrub brush
where i am their is crap when it comes to finding agates D:
That’s a bummer!
I know you won’t see this but be careful for snakes, scorpions, and spiders. If you come over here again come in the winter like you did here because they don’t come out until late spring/summer
That plum colored stuff looks like quartzite, not agate. Color me confused.
I would say check out “Arizona quartzite rock” and see if you think the same thing.
I hope tsa doesn't give you any trouble for bringing these rocks home.
They were good 👍
We were out there last year! Spent 2 days there in that location! There's so much there! The mountains are washing out these agates and eventually the mountain will plateau. How fun! Hope you had a blast, but I'm sure you did!
Edit: just finished watching, I knew you'd enjoy iit
I live in Arizona and would like to know where this is
@roylyn white I don't want to give or the location on his video. But you can always Google or UA-cam locations. Tbh, anywhere in Arizona you can find gems. I literally mean anywhere! Petrified wood is EVERYWHERE too! 😃
THE Phoenix region is easier to find minerals in my opinion. Other locations I've had to use a few tools.
I'm be coming out soon again in April. Where abouts are you in AZ?
A few of them looked opally (is that a word?)
I thought so too
Mijo check out Quest for details....Talk with him....He all over California....
I’m not in California
I now mijo....I meant to say check out his videos 📹....Morning mijo....I have a niece who lives there....Can't wait to see next video 📹😀🥰💜🙏
صديقي العزيز السلام عليكم أحيي فيك روح الحب والعشق للأحجار كما أنا أيضا أتمنا لك التوفيق ومزيدا من الحض
😍💖👍👍👍
Where were you?
Arizona
@@AgateDad yes, I know, but where in Arizona?
Utálom a hideget.
I'll hit the subscribe button if you give the location.
lol
If there's so many finds every couple feet, why not share the location for your fellow rocknuts to enjoy?
Out of respect for locals and the gentleman who shared it with me. Not my place to share it.
Pretty sad that you won't even give the general desert area of Arizona that you are in. That’s about as vague as talking about finding rocks by a Minnesota lake.
And it’s with intent to protect the location for locals and the folks who care enough to put in the work to find it themselves. The ones who want spots handed to them are the ones who ruin spots for everyone.
@@AgateDad I totally get that. You're exaggerating. I’m not looking for GPS coordinates or roads or anything like that. I truly enjoy finding my own spots. The variety of rocks that you found made me wonder about the general geological area of AZ, i.e. near Tucson, outside of Flagstaff, etc. never mind
Wow, more picking up than hunting. Blue is the colour
