The Robots, the Crazy Place, unused trenches, and so much more. Origins has probably had one of the biggest impacts on the Zombies community, and getting to see what lies outside the map was awesome. This marks the end of the Outside Chronicles series, but don't you worry, there's plenty more to come...

The fence that was inside the robots head was probably used to create a shattered glass cockpit effect through the visor so instead of creating a handmade light source they just used a broken fence model and had a single light source shine through it giving it that broken disabled effect, Which is pretty smart so credit to that one map designer who made that little effect.

If I remember correctly origins was supposed to be a lot bigger and was supposed to have a small little village area. It was even shown in the concept art when the map was first teased. Blundell or one of the other Devs even mentioned how it was supposed to be a lot bigger. But they trimmed it down; due to console limitations.
the statues are the 4 main characters, if you look again it looks like richtofen, takeo, dempsy and nikolai

@@ThatWasAwesomeYTyup those are Primis…. being sent into a time loop they become the four warriors in the Great War and in this timeline they made the statues in honor of the primis warriors
I came here to say exactly that haha. Funny, I spent hundreds of hours playing Origins and never noticed that they were the Primus crew until recently. I lol'd when TWA said that it kinda looked like Dempsey haha, it IS Dempsey omegalul

23:29 I've noticed that, when playing with at least one other player, you'll see the outline of a player way out in the distance after they've gotten inside the robot. I never thought much of it, but after watching this video, I got an answer to a question I never thought to ask. Thank you for this video.

5:31 not a thing to upgrade stuff, but to get a pap gun. you basically get the maxis drone and put him in 4 different spots.
I THINK those barriers way above the map are there to contain your camera in theater mode so that way you can't go way out of bounds to see floating objects and all the leftovers out there.

I also think that's why.
I always got by this though. In theatre mode, first person perspective, pause the video when your character is flying from the air (after being ejected from the robots head), and then switch to free roam.
That's how I got pass the barrie's in theatre mode
@@t6kr958 yeah I believe that only works in bo2, I used that glitch a lot and now when I try it in 3 it just freezes you (because of that barrier)
@@Aiden-Ed It's been a while since I've done it but yeah it might have been just bo3. Bo3 has its own different patches and glitches lol

That little disc looking thing when you leave spawn towards generator 2 is a step to get a free pack a punched MG08
The wood pallet inside the robot head is probably for the light bloom to imitate the glass on the visor being broken. Could be wrong but that’s my best guess
5:24 the small yellow disc is 1 of 4 others that you can pick up using the maxis drone and gives you a pack a punched MG 08 for gathering them within a time limit :)
There's no time limit to getting them. You can spend 20 rounds between getting discs and you'll still get the free MG

Thank you for doing what you do. You are a true hero in my book, keep this content up and keep this wonderful story line alive. Every single pixel of these maps are to be admired and appreciated. So many memories from these maps, just such a wonderful time to be alive. It makes me so happy that I was able to be apart of this and be apart of the hype before every DLC in bo2 and bo3. And LIKE THIS VIDEO THIS GUY DESERVES AT LEAST THAT!

Actually innovative as fuck. Been liking the outside chronicles and you keep them coming. Yea sometimes I get mad when you don’t look at shit the way I would’ve, but all in all good content g keep it up

That disk you see on the fence at 5:25 is for a free packed MG08 you will see 4 around the map and if you pick them all up with the drone you build you will see a packed MG08 in front of the pack a punch machine.
I love the long videos. If you ever decide to do a shorter format, please release the full versions as well!

Regarding the collisions - ingame they're actually called "clips". There are several types "monster clips" which only block zombies, clips that block all, clips that block only players or weapon shots etc. Some clips are even used for other behaviors, such as sounds for specific materials or physics changes such as making a surface slippery (slick clip)

11:30 the detail is there because it can bee seen from the lightning staff part that's in the footprint
In fact most of the trinches outside that were detailed could be seen from somewhere inside

I like this idea, if I could, I would make additional game area in the outside areas that you have to secretly unlock. Best know Bus Route B would be in Trazit finally....wait have YOU done Tranzit yet!?!?

The wood in broken robot head is for the effect when the lights comes out like broken glass
Sometimes the stuff they decide to not put in a map they put outside instead
the circle that in gen 2 walkway is for a free pack a punches mg you have to get it by using maxis drone there’s I think 6 of them around the map
The fence in the head is there so the light isnt a flat beam but broken up by each board. Interesting way to get the light to do what they want. Probably just s time aaving measure so they dont need to progam the light to do what they want. Im guessings its to make it seem like the glass on the face is broken, and the light is going through the cracks. That or that many of the lights inside are broken. What wiuld havr been neat is having a dead body hanging out of it and having some of the light be red so it looks like its shining through blood. Would have only been able to be seen with a sniper but could have been used for a jump scare mini EE.

Hey bro that plane you were looking at is German. I think it's supposed to be a Fokker D. VIII fighter plane, but the model in-game is a little janky. The cross on the back is for the Luftflotte 2 air group.

The little thing in the rubble outside spawn is the mgo8 disc for the free upgraded one
I'd like to see one about buried, there might not be much to see exept from spawn
Deep trenches may actually be historically accurate, especially for the Germans. Depending on when and where in the war, Germany had better ground and more time to prepare their defense so their trenches were usually deeper than the allied forces trenches.

I'm kinda disappointed that the jumpscare image isn't sitting inside the church steeple... You'd think since that's where you aim the scope, it would just be sitting there as an asset that you could see via no clipping.

I think they had to cut down on ram like they did on transit. The map is a decent size sure but with how much detail there is i wouldnt be suprise if they bite off more than they can chew when designing origins and had to block off areas and un detail it to make it run smoother

Maybe it is apart of something, but whatever it is I don't think it's mandatory for the easter egg
