- Join us as we head to Southport Pleasureland to experience the parks fantastic variety of thrill and family rides! In this vlog we share on ride POV's from all of the rides at the park including all 4 roller coasters, the Log Flume, Ghost Train and much more. We also talk about the exciting new developments happening at the park including a new Ferris Wheel, Viking themed adventure golf course and the installation of a new thrilling roller coaster!

A family gravity group wooden coaster would work perfectly at this park.

There used to be a wooden coaster called The Cyclone. It was built in the 1920s and it was Demolished as soon as Blackpool Pleasure Beach sold the site in about 2005; no doubt to deter potential interest in the site being bought again. It was actually on the location this coaster is on, but it ran in the opposite direction. Still miss it.
Great to see they are building this theme park back up again. Only once ventured to Southport and found it to be a very nice coastal resort, dare I say nicer than Blackpool. Thanks for showing.

STORYTIME GET SNACKs!! So on the frog ride yeah i went on it when i was 9 and i was sat on the inside closer to the frog and i started to cry because i didnt like loud noises!?🫢 and i was with my cousin aswell she was sat on the outside and the lady inside of the room that controls stopped the ride for me and gave my cousin an extra go?!😂 and im going again tomorrow and imma ask her if she remembers me😂 and imma face my fear!😨

Southport use to be so good in 80's early 90's. if you look at the Farm ( groovy train ) video you see some of the old rides at Southport

I went with my dad . Southport is the best . And I am happy that I have been now . I went on the frisbee but didn’t like it . I remember my older sister went on the traumatizer and caos when I was a little kid and i thought she was the coolest person ever 😊😊 x

Only just noticed at 8:19 you can see the old Shield from Excalibur 2 from Camelot But behind the scenes.
I do like this park. Always feels like someone’s had a good day on Roller Coaster Tycoon. Definitely will be visiting again when the new coaster opens.

The log flumes should have water straight after the lift hill, i've never seen ones with wheels at the top lol

I enjoy it, however it could do with some more fresh investment!
I was speaking to someone who has worked at Pleasureland park for many years and he confirmed the new coaster. The station will be near the Arena Bar. There is also supposed to be a giant wave machine planned to be situated at the marine lake. Unless this is old news idk.
The mini golf is really well themed, but would be better to have that theming for a family coaster. The theming in the park has improved even in the last few months though, so it’s looking promising.
I'm like Charlotte, I don't like things that spin too fast. I remember as a kid going on the waltzer, that traumatized me for life. 😂😂

I was able to get my children to Southport Pleasureland today we went on the log flume got wet and was fun, then to their first rollercoaster the Caterpillar ride which they loved. moved on to ghost train and the second rollercoaster "the Rocket" then we went on the grand canyon before taking on the Rollercoaster were my daughter 14 sat at front of the ride while myself and my son 11, a bit nervous held my hand while holding his glasses in the other i think at least 2 of us are ready for the rollercoaster at Blackpool hope to have more fun with all 4 of us with my wife in toe keep us updated on the rollercoasters at Blackpool

This park needs a lot of investment the prices the park charge are currently more than Blackpool pleasure beech an Alton towers it’s a local park to us in Liverpool but needs major investment and reduce the pricing as it stands at the moment the new coaster if it’s goes a head will be hopefully the start of things to come 👍🏻
100% agree... Liverpool my self and this place has not changed in years... its very run down for the price.
With a brand new coaster on the way it’ll be interesting to see how they develop the park!
The roller coaster looks like it's near to being in the same place as Cyclone. I loved that coaster as a child.

I think that every ride seat should have an emergency stop button attached under the seat incase someone needs to get off during the ride

Cheers for another good and amazing video, really enjoyed and again look forward to seeing more in future. Good to hear about this park getting a new coaster a.k.a a permanent one aswell. Exciting times ahead lol. Noticed Rocket is the same layout as Southend's Mighty Mini Mega, but its a shame that coaster at Southend only now does one lap and no longer two. Hope in future they bring that back again. But well see lol. Also don't mind repeating coaster as myself keep repeating Dreamland Margate as I see again how much potential that park has, hoping in future for a new attraction. I would love to see a new imagined Vekoma Family Swinging Thrill Coaster. Who knows? Maybe one day? But think that park could do with a load more new rides, attractions and coaster alongside the vintage & classic attractions. But thats my opinion & hope one day we see some bigger & new coaster types aswell ride types at Dreamland in Margate. But back to this park, yeah really exciting times 100% ahead, look forward to updates on coaster construction & more. Cheers. 😀👍

Nice vlog Shawn and Charlotte. I’m a big fan of supporting the smaller theme parks and travelling funfairs. Whilst that might not be in the scale of parks like Alton Towers or Thorpe Park, it’s nice that they get the support of tourists and persons like yourselves. I shall look forward to the new coaster they are going to build there. You should come to Great Yarmouth Pleasurebeach later this year as they have the Pendulum ride straight from Margate Dreamland👍

Loved this park back in the day never got on Traumatizer but loved Cyclone, King Solomons mines and the Wild Cat looking to get there with the family next year when we go to Blackpool. Would be great to get to parks in in one week rather than doing 3 trips to pleasure beach like we normally do.
Cyclone was good, the traumatizer was really good I last went when it was a £10 wristband for as many rides as you wanted.
Just been today 😊 we could see the big one and blackpool tower from the top of the rocket x

The Thompson's made Pleasureland a Pay-One-Price attraction under their ownership and most in Southport blame that for the big drop in visitors. I hope the same mistakes aren't being made again under Norman Wallis' ownership.
Let’s hope the park continues to be successful with new investments!

All mothers went on all the rides for free on mother's day it was a great day last week

I am going to Southport pleasure land in 48 days and l am going on my first loopteloop
Oh my days I went here a few months ago. And the restraint on the roller coaster lifted up when I went round the loop 😭😭 you know like it clicked one up. I absolutely sh*T myself.

good blog - southport need more rides (flat rides), big wheel should be part of the token price and the Ghost train need more scares + music and classic Ghost train Klackton. Wish Southport cut the non-rider price from being expensive at £11.00 down to £5

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the fatal accident at ICON Park in Orlando. This awful accident should never of happened and a full investigation is now taking place.
