    I’ve just bought lk and I really value all of these videos you produce. Thank you so much, I find them 1000x more helpful than just reading the manual.

    Thankss a TON for working SO MUCH on LK again! Sorry for being so rough in some critic comments, but I’m convinced that it has the potencial to become WAY MORE and I’m CONVINCED that Imaginando DEFINITELY has the skills necessary ❤️

    OK, got things working with a MIDI trigger for clips. However, I have LK set for host clock (Loopy Pro is master). When I start the Loopy Pro clock ("play") LK starts playing the currently selected LK clip (even though I haven't sent the MIDI trigger to play the clip). How to fix so the LK clips only plays when they are triggered? (FYi, I have "respond to MIDI start/stop" turned off in LK Settings.)

      A clip starts playing with automatically if it is triggered. Ensure that all clips are actually stopped. Triggered clips are slightly brighter than non triggered clips. Press the stop all clips button, the stop button located in the bottom of the scenes column. Let me know if this solves your problem! ;)

    This looks so great in AUM. Is it easy to use for live looping softwareinstruments with midi hardware keyboard controller - is record enable, quantize, loop length etc midi mappable?

      Hi. Record enable is but the rest isn't, sorry.

    Is there such thing as triggering a scene with midi? I cant find it anywhere? To build a song. Or how can automate scenes?

    • @ImaginandoPt
      @ImaginandoPt  День тому +1

      Hi there! Yeas you can! You just need to do MIDI learn on the scenes you want to trigger. Also you can check on the Manual in the Matrix page and learn about follow actions on scenes and Automation! Hope this helps! Take care!

    In the latest (1.12.3) version of LK, I do not find MIDI TRIGGER selections in the clip's Properties. Name is there, loop length, color, etc ... but no MIDI trigger. Where is it? FYI, I'm using it in MIDI mode. I plan on buying Matrix, but must have the MIDI triggering capability.

      @@ImaginandoPt I am using Loopy Pro for audio loops. I am using LK for MIDI loops. I want to trigger specific LK clips using CC messages sent from Loopy Pro. Loopy Pro will act as the master clock (LK MIDI loops will play on time and in sync with Loopy Pro audio loops).

    • @ImaginandoPt

      @@stonelark there is a midi learn function in the status bar. You can select a clip and send a midi note or cc message in order to assign. Or while in midi learn mode, double tap a clip in order to configure its midi settings. Let me know if it worked.

    MIDI Triggering is cool, but I need the exact opposite, I need to tell a clip the playback of an external sequencer (be it an AUV3 app or hardware). At least start the ext sequencer referenced by the provided port and channel when the clip is playing and stop it when the clip stops playing.
    That will be useful when you have a synth or drumbox with a very specific sequencer such as Roland’s TRs or TB and you want to keep the workflow of the sequencer as well as your already programmed sequences.
    Let me know if this is already possible or if you have plans to add this feature.
    Thanks for the great app and updates. It’s really become a must have especially for AUM users.

    • @ImaginandoPt

      In order to run LK along with hardware you need to use MIDI clock. You either set LK clock source to midi clock or you sync the hardware to listen to LK midi clock

    • @alexandrosroussos
      @alexandrosroussos 4 роки тому

      @@ImaginandoPt thank you for your reply. I already have the clock synced of course, but be it for hardware or auv3s for which I want to use their sequencer, I would like the empty clips assigned to their channel/track to start the sequencer when the clip plays then stop it when there’s no clip assigned to them playing.
      That would let me in some cases control the auv3 app’s or hardware’s own sequencer. That would be very cool if possible to optionally send that start/stop message from a sequence that is empty on LK.

    • @ImaginandoPt
      @ImaginandoPt  4 роки тому

      @@alexandrosroussos so you are looking for a way to have empty clips to control hardware. Yes, in that case, I believe the only possible way is to have clips sending midi clock messages for start/stop. I can't promise you that will happen right away but please send us an email via website so I can assign your contact to this request.

    • @alexandrosroussos
      @alexandrosroussos 4 роки тому

      @@ImaginandoPt I’ve sent this request from your website already yesterday. It’s through the same name so you should be able to find it (let me know if you don’t).
      It’s already clock synced as far as the Auv3s are concerned as I use them through the same AUM session. I can try on hardware as well but I expect the same. They all just start or stop when I use AUM’s playback controls but they continue to play even if the assigned channel has no clip on the played scene.

    How can I put CC commands into a sequencer to send out, instead of notes?

    • @ImaginandoPt
      @ImaginandoPt  2 місяці тому

      You can do that by automating the CC parameter inside your sequencer. Normally on an automation editing window or on your arrangement depending on the daw you are using. In Lk you have to open the Composer where you can edit notes and you have an automation lane that you can create and choose the CC you want to automate. Then you can edit the automation parameter for that CC. Hope this helps!

    • @PhilthyLoops
      @PhilthyLoops 2 місяці тому

      @@ImaginandoPt Yes but the problem is it's not good to control, for example: CC1(any between 0-127) is kick and CC2 (any) would be a snare - but doesnt work that well or easy to handle, or am i missing sth.?

      @ImaginandoPt  2 місяці тому

      @@PhilthyLoops Each Midi channel of every Midi Port is capable of sending notes as well as CC's. Notes are used to play the instrument and CC's are normally used to automate the parameters of the instrument. Did this help?

      @@ImaginandoPt thats the problem i think, i want to set CC commands on piano like the notes, but it still sends notes if channel is on CC, i.e. for unique beat patterns - so the only way is automation with this i guess?

    But how does it work to record a clip i dont find it out what i have to do basicly?
