- BATTLE OF THE GODS BITCHES!!! This one is technically even a rematch of sorts. Back before Izanami's rework I pitted these two against eachother on stream at the request of some people watching. Susanoo to my shock and surprise was able to take the game against Izanami at the time. But now that the Death Empress is here in her renewed splendor, will he remain victorious? Or will he fall to her new might as she ascends her rightful throne as the (current) strongest super boss to be released? Mods in the video made by me and both players are controlled by the CPU using cheat engine.

Rematch of the century. If I'm not mistaken this is also the 2nd fastest match we've ever had
This honestly feels like "who blows who up first", they're both just _that much_ of damage monsters 🤣🤣🤣
Most of my recent releases seem to fit that description....it's getting a bit excessive

Yeah...this went about as expected. I've done this matchup myself quite a few times and I've only managed to beat her once. Susano'o theoretically has very good tools in this matchup in the form of two unblockable supers and the laser super which annihilates her shield with the only counterplay on Izanami's part on that last one being a preemptive 236236B. However all of these anti-ribcage tools are supers, even with his passive meter gain the only truly safe way to use these tools is by bursting her off him or a hard call-out ODR, and even assuming he gets those supers off Izanami definitely has ways to counter them as she showed here. Susan's AI tendencies certainly don't do him any favors here, either. Hakumen is still the only one who can realistically stand a chance against Izanami with his reliable, low-risk ways of bypassing ribcage.
Honestly forgot about guard cancel overdrive in these types of fights. It's another (fortunate) counter to the unintentional infinite blockstrings I sometimes end up allowing characters to do. I'll have to put her against Hakumen soon since I have to agree he's probably the only one (under the AI at least) that has even a snowballs chance in taking her out right now.

@@JoshuaLowe-ci3wo I believe it honestly. Izanami is very much not a good matchup for Nine in their vanilla versions. No reason not to think the same would apply to a Super Boss Nine.
The worst part is, in the hands of a true izanami player shes even more terrifying, ezdeth has put me through the ringer a few times already and my only ways of counter are susan and azrael
How the hell does Azrael put up a fight against her? I know he's better than I thought he was but hell I can't see it. I guess black hawk stinger on ground hit bypasses shield? That's about it though
@Demonseth999 you'd be surprised, growler is really op for defence and if you do it right, right as you absorb something with growler you have roughly 5f of invincibility to mash out a super input or OD super, can you guess which we do in pressure? Super punch, not Blackhawk, also you gave azrael his alpha parry always active and if there's one thing I got damn good at its timing forward just right

@@Sailor639 Susanoo's total win loss record these CPU matches is 7 wins 2 losses counting this one. Terumi himself just happens to have *really* bad AI so that's why he gets bodybagged so much (well that and he's only gone up against some real heavy hitters).

@@Sailor639Hazama has only lost twice counting the CPU tournament. The only ones to take him down are the complete fucking menaces that are Arakune and Izayoi.
