Don't gloss over the former English presence in Sri Lanka. It's called colonization. That aside, Sri Lanka is also known for cinnamon.

History has any number of threads you can follow. This video is about tea. Certainly the British occupation is part of that story, and the video acknowledges how significant (and exploitative) it was to Sri Lanka's people, environment, and tea growing capabilities. If you want more in depth information, there are plenty of resources about British colonization. Sri Lanka is so much more than its experiences in the 19th century, though, and I'm more concerned with the modern day exploitation continued by corporations eager to extract profit at the expense of the prople there -- the video draws attention to this as well.
      Cheers

@Nioteas it's excellent! I really enjoy the travel videos exploring tea culture and the interviews with the people involved. I'm glad these dedicated and conscientious proucers got a spotlight. I know videos these take a ton of planning and money, but it's really a valuable product. Thanks! Will you be selling any ceylon?
