John is a guy who has age appropriate learning or earlier than stipulated. He grows and learns with time, unlike many people who stagnate and regress. You can clearly tell that he has a bright future because he’s already significantly succesful for his age 👍🏻 John also has clarity and self awareness. He’s realistic in his approach. He sets goals and achieves them without delay. He’s a thorough modern day Alpha.
Tough working hours and deadlines in a professional job, makes you sharp, intuitive and brilliant because you’re constantly solving problems. It’s great to do for a short amount of time and then reduce the hours. Pushing the boundaries for self improvement is important. People who make significant changes at any age, are people who have a track record of making changes in their life, both big and small. That’s how they gain the confidence to move to another country/city, get a new job, say yes to a relationship, try a new method at work, letting o of old habits, wake up 2 hours earlier, start a new hobby; change their diet, etc.
People who don’t adapt that skill early on in life, often become mediocre at best or deadbeat and/or criminals at worst. People who say that such skills can be developed at any age, forget that most people who don’t develop them early, haven’t experienced the utility in these skills and often don’t care about developing them later on in life.
People who don’t have a track record of improving themselves, in any shape or form, don’t magically wake up, and change their lives 180 degrees. It’s unrealistic and highly unlikely.
Also, the person who developed them earlier has a significant advantage over the one who never started in the first place.
A person who’s been intuitive, sharp and clear for 8-15 years, has an advantage over someone who is just starting out.

The natural progression into a slower, and more conventional lifestyle can support a lot of self reflection and protect your health both mentally and physically in the long run. Ana!!! Your story with your mum has given me hope I can change. I'm an ENTJ too but I feel like I'm stuck in a Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen episode ever since I became paralyzed in 2021. I rely on others as caregivers and I become so scared and stressed when things go awry that I end up yelling at everyone like idiot sandwiches. But I want to be like you said exuding love and positive energy. I know I have a long way to go but at the very least thank you for showing me we can change for the better :)
And John, thanks for showing us the change in mind shift for choosing what matters in life. I'm also really into productivity but sometimes I feel like it's robbing me from enjoying the little things in life because I become obsessive and I gotta chill!! I wish you too could be my ENTJ coaches lol

Being laser focused is good when you are working towards something, but I think the free time you have you don't need to be so laser focused as to you have to be learning something, if you set up sometime where you get to be completely spontaneous, you may be open to more experiences, and you will always learn along the way. There are so many things you may find yourself being interested in such as hiking, the Arts, culture, explore the world, theories, books... Honestly I think one day free is not enough. That's probably enough for you to explore yourself but definitely you won't have enough time for your friends and family

You had a date with a Vancouverite awhile back, I thought you two would make a great couple - you both had great energy.
I really resonate with the tendency to overwork. I def had felt proud of working 2 full time jobs and packing my every available hour with productivity. It wasn’t until earlier this year that i physically couldn’t do it anymore and got massive brain fog from overwork. I pulled back a lot and recalibrated based on things I want to do vs should be doing. Such a big mindset shift.

Yes 400k is the minimum for starting dentist in the United States
I have met dentists who made less than 200k/year.
As a dentist, do you brush and floss 30 min after eating/drinking with a date? Do you carry a cleaning kit with you?
haha nah i dont. i usually brush twice a day and floss at night unless im at work (i have a brush in clinic, or if im home for the day)

Totally concur with Anna. Gone are the days of flirting and trying to figure out what you want. I feel like it is a waste of my time flirting, texting, etc. I know what I want and if the guy doesn't know what he wants then it's a big put off. I get agitated when someone is in their 30s and still trying to figure out what he wants. So for me it's best to avoid them.
