Couch grass is a nightmare. The whole plot was covered and it had massive rhizomes under the soil it took me a few weeks of forking to clear the whole plot and fork out the rhizomes Thankfully it’s clean now
Or a petrol rotovator, A lot depends on how long it`s been left wild and the type of soil, Mine was so tough it `s snapped forks and spades, It even broke the frame of the petrol rotovator, I had to weld were two frame rails had snapped off, Either way it`s more work than you think

I have a problem with Mare's tail and Stickywilli they just keep coming back any ideas how I can keep them from strangling my plants
