I put 66,000 miles on a 1976 GL1000 over 2 years. Looking to buy a 2024 or 2025, but it is a crap shoot and hard to find any "dealer" that will allow a test drive. Sad... I guess that is why they don't sell more, aside from the price.
Fine Honda, I love it! - BUT - Make a smaller (4cyl) brother in the 1300cc range, simplify to basics (manual) with basic navigation. Cut significantly the weight and you will get a bunch of newer riders that eventually may gravitate to the upscale 1800. Call it the 4wing. Us older guys would really like it as well.

Honda change all of those features way back in 2018 when they brought out with a 6 speed manual or a 7 speed automatic, they made it lighter by 90 kilograms over the 2001-17 model, they gave it Apple Car Play and Android Car Play, the engine was increase from 1830cc to 1832cc, they gave the new engine direct injection instead of two fuel injection body found on 2001-17 models, 20 litre fuel tank, electrical power adjustable windshield, reverse and slow walking forward parking modes, it comes standard with heated seat, heated grips, Bluetooth, Airbag on the full dresser touring model, you can now buy them with or without the trunk
