I was 1st introduced to da beach when I went to Myrtle at 16 yrs old with my best friend's family...fell in love with it. When I got married & had 2 toddlers around '83, '84, our little family & my Mom, with younger siblings in tow, would rent houses, pre airbnb, through realtors or motels at Carolina Beach. My daughter, wearing glasses at 5 yrs old, got on the rough bumper cars with her Dad & me looking through those huge windows with bars hehe, saw their car get violently bumped & her glasses flew off onto the floor area! Somehow, no one ran over them & her Dad was able to drive by & reached down to swoop them up! We always fixed our breakfasts in the places we stayed but I definitely remember the Plantation House & when Burgers & Bites had gas pumps. My favorite Christmas movies are the old classics...It's a wonderful Life, first 2 Home Alone & yes, Christmas Vaca & I too, laugh at that thing, especially when Chevy's up in the attic & later says... where's the Tylenol hahaha Thanks for the updated look at The Oceaneer. I hope the renovations will be completed & I just might have to rent a room there next summer for old time's sake
I will be sure to stop by and try out the new location once it opens. I am happy to hear your burgers were good during your visit. Thank you for watching my friend.👍
I love all your videos but the ones at Carolina Beach are my favorites! Great news about Island Burgers and Bites! Hardee’s is the perfect location! I love Kate’s! Christmas Vacation is a must! 😃 Thank you for the video! Have a blessed day! 🎄😁
Britt’s normally open at the end of March. For historical fun! I would go check out the new Fort Fisher welcome center. Also, the ghost walk in Wilmington is very interesting. You can sign for historical ghost walk at the Black Cat Shop on Market Street near the river walk. I hope you have a great time.👍

We are coming to Wilmington in February. When does Britts Donuts open? We love historical things, any suggestions?

Hands down, "A Christmas Story". Almost as good as the team previously called the "Redskins".
I loved “A Christmas Story”. Great choice! You noticed my jacket too.👍
HaHa I noted the Redskin's too...another "classic"
