I think buying super markets own branded food is a good idea for saving money aswell, I'm young adult paying alot for rent in Wellington city, buying food only from Countdowns essentials range has helped me save heaps of money
Each supermarkets has good specials that others maybe abit more expensive we looked at pak n save for self raising flour cost was $2.48 checked warehouse same item different brand name for $1.89 we included that item in our warehouse shop thanks for sharing
Two things are necessary in order to drive down the food prices in NZ : 1. - At least three major players, independent of each other, on NZ grocery market ; 2. - A strong anti-cartel legislation
it dont matter who they bring in, food prices will not change much in nz when major food producing countries are being hammered by the wef and war in ukraine, look at fonterra those guys dont and wont listen to kiwis about their high prices even, yet those same products are cheaper overseas than here!
There is no PAK'nSAVE near Auckland CBD. My transportation cost and time spent to reach there, don't add up to any significant savings.
Walk.
Should have gone to one of Auckland's Asian supermarkets if comparing fresh. Only when desperate do I buy fresh from the big supermarkets.
Let's count best in quality food and huge discounts and offers...❤
@BlackPillRising Miracle do happen, wanna see how n when...just wait n watch...!!!
I shop 2 supermarkets, comparing prices , $100 budget for 2 adults.
I feel like crying most shops, our budget is strictly set. If we don't have the money for something then that's the end of it, we don't buy it and we go without, hoping we can afford it the next week or so .
It's tiring. It's stressful and I wish I could just afford some nice things here and there rather than the basics week after week after week.
Donr buy unnecessary snacks. Everyone ia guilty of this, EVERYONE. That will always be where the extra costs lie.
@@FrightFor salads....
Pak N Save overall is cheaper.
Pak N Save also have more stock in most of the time. Their home brands are cheaper every time.
Whatever you can bulk buy try to do that.
The warehouse is beating them in many items these days... 2:03
I reckon do a comparison now as paknsave prices have gone down
Thanks
its cheaper to order your groceries on line from Australia and get delivered to your address in new Zealand ..
jason murphy - Where do you shop in Australia?
like ice cream
@@kidcreole6749 ice cream is a non esssential thing. Its for addicts.
❤️
So I have to shop at 3 different supermarkets basically that’s bullshit mate
U don't have too its just comparing prices.
Warehouse and Pak N Save. Countdown is always a ripoff even if youre a gold card holder.
NZ is a bloody great garden,,, WHY do we HAVE to shop for "a bargain" ? oh yes ,,, Supermarkets and bank loans ,,, Avoid supermarkets as much as possible and dont get a loan ....
👍🏻
Business.
Warehouses.
WHY NOT NEW WORLD
haha.. Australia is cheaper.. time to move NZ to Australia
Not really, thats just our Australian-Centric media gaslighting.
Banks run the Supermarkets and how much are New Zealanders ripped off by Australian owned banks, a lot.
