- Recently I started using a portable dvd player again and found myself also using my PSP Go for watching UMD copies of movies and the experience has been great!

Sorry to hear about your last DVD player! Your new one looks cool, especially since it rotates. Watching movies on the GO is probably perfect in bed although I don’t know if I could through a whole movie on the GO haha. None of my GOs are modded, but I like ripping CDs from PS3 and transferring them over to my PSPs. The last UMD movie I picked up was 12 Monkeys. Sick video as always man!
Hey thanks a lot! Yeah whenever I watch movies at night it's like 20 or 30 minutes a night. Sometimes three nights to finish a movie, but it's great for episodes of TV. Yeah I was super bummed out about that portable DVD player. To be fair I had it for like 5 years with no issues and it was super helpful when the power would go out. Getting replacement batteries for them is stupid expensive so it was just cheaper to get another one.

Im Stilll Absolutely Love Psp But I Play Psp Adreline On My Vita Now Sense Vita Literally has Psp Built In . PlusEverything The Homebrew community does for the vita . psp was the best pocket device released in the 2000s Imo
I have a PSP Go in the mail now. I'm going to make it a dedicated movie device. Which would be impossible to say in 2025 without cfw.

I wish the modding wizards could conjure up a way to squeeze more than 128GB onto this thing. I mean, I want to pack in a whole cinematic universe in mid to high quality, not just a few episodes in potato resolution just to fit everything in!

I seem to enjoy my old psp for portable gaming more than more modern devices. Gaming on phone never works past simple games. Even the switch can be too big.
Phone comes with too many distractions as well
Bruh 5:25 . Just wait till you learn about bookr and digital comic viewer man you can do all kinds of stuff with psp its a media machine. You can even play flac files now using light mp3 my psp is loaded umd videos are huge so i started converting more. I take psp everywhere leave the phone at home sometimes

That is built into the PSP Go. It shouldn't turn off if you slide the top part down.
Im thinking of getting a GO as an all in one media device, like mp3's movies etc, is it an good choice or not?
If you're looking for something older like the GO I think it's a great choice. Obviously people will say "Use your phone" but I enjoy older tech so I think It's a good option. Just make sure you look up the SD Card mod you can put on it to increase the storage size first
@@theretrouniverse I am not nostalgic to it but i think it looks very clean and slick, i just want a device that fits in my bag or pocket that plays movies and music that has bluetooth that looks good,and the game library is pretty good so definitely a goos choice imo but it is pretty expensive especially the white model which looks best.
