Of all of Yuzuru's performances - short programs, free programs and gala performances this is my favourite. And this version skated at the Olympics in PC in 2018 after he won his second consecutive Olympic gold medal is my favourite version. As always Yuzuru is at one with the music. Every movement of his entire body is fluid. His delayed single Axel is breathtaking. I have been his fan for only two and a half years but I have seen most of his performances. He skates with his heart and soul. I often watch this performance before I go to bed. His elegance here is beyond words. This is indeed art. If you haven't yet seen Yuzuru skate to Requiem for Heaven and Earth for his gala performance at The World's in Boston in 2016 you might want to have a look. Best wishes again from Australia 🇦🇺

On 2019 Il volo didn't know who Yuzuru Hanyu is exactly how they don't know now on 2023 (they refer to him as a random japanese skater that won the Olympics with their piece which is wrong) so there's no way that Il Volo was at Palavela during the Gran Prix final Gala. As an italian I find this thing a little shameful since they were welcomed with great joy in Japan thanks to Yuzuru-san.
