@@ЗВХПВП I fell out of love with Hearthstone about 18 months ago, after playing almost every day since launch. Just quit overnight with no particular warning or cool off time. The horrible side effect is I haven't watched a Kripp video in about the same amount of time - what's good, where shall I start again?
The opponent may have won, but the opponent still did a couple of pretty stupid misplays. Like starfalling all enemy minions instead of only the abomination. And playing the second alarmobot before killing the abomination.
Yet the opponent was called "such a noob" after a sole fact of playing alarmobot. Even in constructed this card might find a good use (especially for the druid), and in the arena it is possible for any player to be forced to pick a card they normally don't take. It's about the mindset, not the actual skill of the opponent which appeared to be not great.
aceontheriver100 Still by calling him a noob and then being beaten by said noob thus making him an even bigger noob. (Yes its all sarcasm and yes i do mean it to sound like a science report)
The druid should have used the 5 damage starfall on the taunt that would have killed the whole board, and the druid would still have all his minions lol
Says he is a noob for using Alarm-o-bot. Doesn't kill it. Still complains about opponent being noob. Still doesn't kill it Alarm-o-bot gets all the pulls. Complains once again. Still doesn't kill it. I think someone else here maybe the noob.
The fist chance he had to kill it he killed the ghoul instead because it is in general a more powerful card. All the other times he couldn't kill the alarmo bot because his opponent had an ironbark on the board.
Honestly, Kripparrian fucked up, he's an idiot for thinking, "Well what are the chances he has a good deck.", well if he has a fucking Alarm-o-Bot on it, he probably has a pretty fucking good deck, so Kripparrian didn't think, and just was like, "Fuck it, I don't care.", whenever I see an Alarm-o-Bot, I think the opponent has a good deck, because no one runs Alarm-o-Bot on a shitty deck, they run him on strong decks.
ThatOneCamper As i said, the person previously made bad plays, so the kripp doubted his overall skill, and he thought the ghoul would be more dangerous. And actually, that wasn't a terrible play. Had he not killed the ghoul, his strong minions would have protected the ghoul and it would grow insanelly strong.
NorthWind Studios Except that an ever better play would have been to just clear the board with his abomination and consecration. He would still have two mana to have a 2/1 and whatever else he chose. The board was already not in his favor at that point and he would have been better off starting it over in his favor.
So, I giggled a bit with the first Ironbark. I laughed a bit with the second one. But when Sylvanas popped out I just lost it. Best laugh in weeks. This video is pure win.
Laxus Thunder Gnome died for no reason. Missed 2 dmg. Bot got damaged by 2 so it could've been killed with an archer. Or rifleman. Or something like that. Noob move. 3 hp minion is much harder to kill than 1 hp one.
MrRavellon Do you have hard time understanding this? It doesn't fucking matter, bot didn't die and it was able to switch places with another minion. Whole point for using that spell was to kill most of the enemy minions. If that spell would have killed the bot, he wouldn't have used it.
To be fair, that guy IS a noob. You can tell by the starfire play he made (2 damage to all isntead of 5 to the abomination) . But since he got an amazing deck ,it doesn't matter. This sums up arena pretty well.
obesechicken13 His deck wasn't that good either. If you think about it, he only had high mana cost cards and an alarm-o-bot, but if he doesn't get it early on, which is likely the most likely thing that could happen, he would be just useless against any aggro/low rush/mid range deck...
The guy was kinda noobsy, half the time he forgot to click end turn, he tried to attack face when a taunt was up, and he only won cuz of RNG alarm-o-bot shenanigans.
***** Not to mention he could have used Starfall to do five damage to the Abomination, the death rattle would have killed all the 2 hp minions Krip had, and it would have spared his Gnome Inventor. There were a lot of little missteps on their part like that. That isn't to say that an experienced player can't miss things like that, but couple that with trying to attack things behind taunts... he comes across like he is new to the game.
When your opponent IN ARENA has 3 ironbarks, a swipe, ysera, sylvannis, and an alarm-o-bot, with druid of the claw, it doesn't really matter how good they are. They pretty much win from draft.

I still think removing the Ghoul was the best play. Keeping the ghoul alive would have guaranteed a wipe of the board. (3 creatures / 7 mana) The alarm-o-bot can be a pain in the ass, but there's always a chance that it'll switch a 2-drop or waste a creatures battlecry. Keeping the ghoul alive was bad for sure, especially with a Druid. Leaving it wasn't a bad decision in this particular circumstance. You can't win them all; these things just happen. Keeping a cool head and calculate accurately is what wins the most games in the long run.
I don't see why everyone is quoting him and saying that he called the other person a 'noob' then lost, if he was trying to win he would have taken out the alarm-o-bot. You heard him say 'let's see what else alarm-o-bot can throw at us' or something on those lines, he lost but he did it so he could have a video based on why you should kill the alarm-o-bot when it is summoned.

It's actually quite terrible. It's only good if your opponent is completely dumb and lets it live, or it's behind a taunt wall. Of course, this also depends on your hand too, if you have only high cost creatures, then it's amazing, but normally it's shit.
Not really, it's dumb in constructed. In arena, it's really not a big deal to let it live, because there is a higher chance that he doesn't have an ultra powerful card in his deck, because of the random nature of the draft. Generally, alarm o bots aren't even put in decks (even in constructed) because of their random nature. They're just as easily going to summon a goldshire footman as they are deathwing. When in arena, if a player picks a alarm o bot, it's generally assumed that he got a really bad pick or he's a noob. The problem Kripp had was that he underestimated his opponent, who was clearly new to the game, not that he was dumb.
***** I would actually say the same thing, if he wouldn't have played against a druid. I mean they have a 8/8 taunt as basic cards, which is why he got it 3x. So yea, Kripp fucked it up imho. Was hillarious to watch though :'D
***** lol dude... shut up... everything depends on everything... dont say things like "its only good if.." EVERY CARD IS GOOD WITH SOME OTHERS CARDS.... wtf...
I wish Blizzard would put some restrictions in place in Arena, like maybe each player gets access to one legendary only. It just seems ridiculous someone gets a Sylvanis and Ysara in one Arena, and you're right, all you can do is laugh it off.
I think it's fine as is man. Restricting legendaries changes very little. Druid with 6 swipes is just as overpowered if not more. In fact, I love that you can get a lot of legends since that's the only place I can play those cards since I don't have them myself.
I disagree with the comment on 6 fire elementals. One time I had a sick deck with 4 fire elementals and 2 pandas, and several of the games I panda'd up a fire elemental to heal it and deal 3 damage again. That deck reached eight wins. I don't think it matters how sick/amazing your deck looks. From my experience, arena matches last around 10-13 turns or so, and unless your deck has insane card draw, most of the time you're going to see only half of your deck. That means some (or all if you're really unlucky) of your six fire elementals could easily never show up and instead, you draw the crappy mogu'shan warden or magma rager you were forced to pick, or you have a horrible mulligan and have no 2 or 3 drop and you lose. Winning twelve times in arena has less to do with getting a spectacular deck (though that helps), but more to do with match-ups and having your deck cooperate with you. Even if your deck sucks, you can still reach twelve wins if you face off against players with decks either on par with yours or that don't cooperate during the match. I've managed to draft countless decks that I thought were incredible, and yet those decks didn't go the distance and only got me 8-11 wins, while several times I've reached twelve wins with incredibly mediocre decks. This happened because I got lucky and faced people also with mediocre decks. Or maybe I actually faced people with 6 fire elementals, but they never drew them. Too bad for those people.
While yes kripp should have killed the Alarm-o-Bot His opponent also made some mistakes like not killing the abomination (paladin have buffs and he has nothing on the board so it would have been a good time) Or that starfall mess up...
Fun fact: I just learned the abomination's voice actor misread his line in WC3. He says "render and tear" instead of "rend and tear." Rendering is a process that takes place long after butchering, converting byproduct animal fat to usable (even valuable) products, that is similar to clarifying butter. I wasn't sure if "render and tear" wasn't somehow the correct voiceline until I heard the Hearthstone unit.

Seeing this in 2021 makes you appreciate the mall things a bit more lmao
Misplay. Should have double nightmared alarm-o-bot before the awakens, then did the alarm-o-bot BM finish.
Have to return to this gem

Will kripp see this in 2021? Love your videos man
O.o I saw Dyrus pop up. TSM TSM TSM.
FREE-SM
Yishidk lol
I miss the Kripp that was able to laugh at this kind of stuff.
Haha thats the hilarious thing about arena. So much bullshit can happen and all you can do is laugh it off.
ReMeDy yeah but that happens never.
Damn, I still remember watching this like in 2013. Good Times...
LOL! someone needs to make a video out of his reactions here xD...HILARIOUS! ^^
He just did.
God I miss the old days of Hearthstone and MoP WoW
Haha Alarm O Bot Army!
"I need a drink" *opens carton and drinks straight from it*... didn't see that coming.
My god that guy was bad, the innervate wild growth excess had me in tears
+Gabriel Canto You can say it... innervated you
This video is actually from the future after Kripp shaves using products in that box sent by dollar shave club
HeyguyshowsitgoingKripparianhere
That Alarm-O-Bot is hilarious !!!
While yes kripp should have killed the Alarm-o-Bot
His opponent also made some mistakes like not killing the abomination (paladin have buffs and he has nothing on the board so it would have been a good time)
Or that starfall mess up...
Jo Viljar Haugstulen Dude his opponent had probably one of the best!! Druid drafts i've ever seen omfg
+Jo Viljar Haugstulen he didn't misplay killing the trogg was the right play
+Jo Viljar Haugstulen you have to think kripp didn't know ironbark was in the opponent hand
So... Never call my opponent a noob? Got it.
YES! Amazing seeing this live
