Thanks for reading 📖..PB was definitely jealous of Linda too because Linda wrote that Lisa told her “my mommy don’t like you”..PB made her living from deceit..amazing how many people still believe E was the love of her life ..your commentary is right she only loved the money 💰 ‼️

One would think if she wanted to be everything Elvis wanted why would she cheat on him. I’ve heard his family say she did her hair the way she wanted it not Elvis and she had friends too. It’s ridiculous that she paints herself victim

In the Ladies Home Journal story,Prissy told them, that Elvis never told her what to do,or what to wear. She went to finishing school to learn about makeup. At the end of the day,Prissy did her makeup like Cleopatra and said that she loved it, and was STILL in her Cleopatra stage.

The finishing school encouraged her to take a more moderate approach to her makeup but she loved the heavy look. One of the young boys described her as looking like a vampire.

MITTE.. I have no respect for Prissy whatsoever...The only good thing she gave to Elvis was Lisa Marie...And there is no doubt that Elvis was Lisa's father...She looked just like him down to the way she curled her lip!!! Do I feel that Prissy was pregnant before they got married. ..Yes I do...I ALWAYS had that gnawing feeling that she was...That's why the wedding was so rushed...And I always wondered why her wedding dress was so plain and loose...Anyway that's my feelings. .. TCB/TLC. .❤I met her and Lisa in 2007 backstage at the FedEx Center in Memphis during the 30th anniversary Elvis Week....Lisa was so sweet and seemed genuine.. Prissy ACTED so sweet but you could see it was so phony...

I agree with you. I have asked DOCTORS and NURSES if ANY babies have been born EXACTLY 9 months to a/the day? ? My answer was NO! First babies are 1 to 2 weeks late! Twins are born at about 8 -MONTHS. UNDER A DOCTORS Care with multiples. the mother and babies are WATCHED much more closely than single births. IF there is problem pregnancies running in a family. . .mother and babies are WATCHED MUCH CLOSER. . .in case the Doctor(s) have to do a C-section! ! Doctors and Nurses have stated some women are SO. . . VAIN, and back in the 1970's Doctors would do a C-section and DO A TUMMY-TUCK so the women didn't look like they had a baby. . . . .
You throw EVERYTHING out the window when sperm & eggs are fertilized in a petri-dish, ALL are put in mother, ending up with 2, or 3 or 5 or 6? ?

Another great video on the 2 year passing on Lisa.
I have read all of the important books and have been a fan of Elvis 60 years. In all of my readings, I have come to the conclusion that Elvis "MAY" have been in the high functioning Autism Spectrum. It would explain many of the issues he had in his life & career.
In his lifetime, nothing much was known about autism, and how it can manifest itself in ones life. When he was a child living in Tupelo, kids called him odd or weird. The same thing happened in his early days in Memphis. I have worked with mildly autistic children, and understood most of the challenges they face in life, and it can be very hard on them. They tend to be highly sensitive to many things, such as strong smells, bright lighting, harsh fabrics on their skin, food issues. They can have temper tantrums over the smallest of things.
Elvis had to face all of so many things in his life, that would be daunting to a normal person. No one that was close to him ever would have guessed he had this problem, including his family and close fans.
I think that is why Gladys was so overly protective of him, and worried about him so much. Parker also ad an inkling that Elvis needed protecting. It was not all about money. Of course she would not have been aware of Autism, nor Vernon. The music was an escape for Elvis, even as a child.
Elvis has gotten a bad rap for many things, especially his use of prescription drugs. In my opinion, he took these drugs to calm himself down from all the stimulus around him, that is how he coped.
People who are fans should read up on Autism, and then see how it applied to Elvis, and how he lived his life. People have been too quick to judge him, without truly understanding him. I have hesitated to say this, for a long time because most people don't get it. I wish a good writer would connect Elvis with being mildly Autistic, so those horrible people out there who have criticized him for over 40 years would finally come to understand the man.
Sorry this was so long, but it has needed to be said for a long time. I found your channel to be the best to air it on. I hope his fans who read this will give it some thought, and understand how he truly suffered much of the time.

@LadyCapricorn8 Thanks for showing a lot of courage in voicing your thoughts on this platform. I've considered the possibility as well, especially when I learned that Elvis was a bit of loner at school, had some OCD issues in his early years, could not sleep well from an early age and was ritualised with his routines, and that he created his own language within his family and inner circles. I guess we will never really know because very little was known about ASD in the 50's and 60's. One day, I'll get around to reading the book Destined to die young which explains Elvis' predisposition to depression and drugs.

I completely agree with you and more and more people are mooting it in recent times. He also couldn't sit still very well and seemed very hyperactive, especially in his youth. He was very misunderstood. He certainly had more to cope with than most in the world. Re the sensory issues - he is said to have been unable to have tolerated the smell of fish and needed his foil on the windows - partly for sleeping in the day - there are other examples, I'm sure, that all fit in.

      Buonasera signore

Our Beloved Elvis was not here to defend himself, she felt she could say whatever she wished as long as it made her money .... contradited and lied her way tru the last 50 years,,we all aware as to how she ( and one of her many lovers ) treated poor liza from when only a very young child rite up to her death. Pracilla has proved what kind of woman, wife mother, liar and money grabber shes been,,shes proved it over and over and over ..and still raking it in simply because was married to Elvis for few month! ,,who or what was she? A nobody,,a nothing,,, and to still be associated with the Presley name ( because she used it illegaly ) almost 50 years aftr Elvis passing i think is shocking...she was scheming and wicked from the start when she and her parents had schemed their sickning plan,,was all about getting a ring on her finger as they were all aware that would be her made financialy (and forever as its worked out )as due to using his name regardless as to how many other parners she had,,,,,,one of them as ling as 20 odd years! ...she been what is known ss a "hanger on" and must be aware as to how much shes looked down on and laughed at ,,

Elvis' secretary, Becky Yancey, wrote a book, "My Life with Elvis". I read it years ago, and the part I remember is that she asked Elvis if she could be his maid for his home, and he thought that was funny. He told her she could be his secretary, and she worked in the office in the back at Graceland. She passed away in 2021 according to the obituary.

Trust me, I think that she looks like Elvis but then again I know how perception can be for people. It’s how hit songs are made by playing them over and over again same with subliminal messages. I’m saying that the question has been out there because of the forced marriage. Because of the rushed marriage of her being pregnant. Let’s just say Priscilla went to the criminal and said I’m pregnant. Don’t tell Elvis it will cause a scandal. We need to be married and then kole said if we don’t marry you guys right now tomorrow or next week, her family is going to share that you guys had messed around when she was young. It’s not outside the Rema possibility what I found out about Hollywood and superstars and stars is all very very screwed up. I’ve been in these industries for long enough to know that something like this is certainly possible. Do I think it’s likely. No I do believe that Lisa does look like Elvis. but so does Desiree. In a lot of ways they look the same and different. But And lied about being a virgin. Why would we think that she wouldn’t be fooling around before Elvis. I’ve heard this stuff for years. But like I said, I believe that Lisa is Elvis’s daughter, but that’s all I’ve ever been told and showing all of my life as well? But I also know that at least 50% of a marriage is have affairs, and there are a lot of illegitimate children all around that are never even discovered. It might be the reason why some people don’t want to test in the Presley family they could be legitimate or suspect and then their livelihoods would be over. I’m not pointing anybody in particular. I’m just saying in general. I really have to look at things from all angles.

    Hi Joe:
I just wanted to give you some GREAT news. Priscilla HAS lost the right to use the Presley name. About 20 years ago, Priscilla sold the "Presley" name to Authentic Brands Group. Priscilla went into business with a woman. They set up companies to exploit her name. PPP, Priscilla Presley Partners believes they have the right to exploit her name, image, and likeness.
Priscilla is now in a lawsuit with them saying she only sold the right to her first name.
What it sounds like is that Priscilla and this woman went into business when she was much younger and they planned to make a lot of money. Now Priscilla must have realized what a mistake she made by selling her right to the Presley name, so she is now suing, and trying to say she sold the right to her FIRST name. Her argument doesn't make an ounce of sense since there are lots of people named Priscilla. However, it does make sense that she sold the more unique and valuable name of Presley with plans to make a lot of money off exploiting it. My belief is that Priscilla DID sell the Presley name 20 years ago thinking she and the woman could exploit the name in several different businesses they had set up, but Kruse (the woman Priscilla went into business with) is the majority owner, which leaves Priscilla as the minority owner. Now Priscilla is nearly broke and owes the IRS a considerable amount of money, and realizes what a mistake it was for her to sell her right to use the Presley name.
In Priscilla's lawsuit against Riley, she got Riley to agree to "make a great effort" to convince Elvis Presley Enterprises to not pursue litigation against Priscilla.
SO PRISCILLA WAS AN ABSOLUTE IDIOT TO SELL OFF HER RIGHT TO USE THE PRESLEY NAME.
Kruse is even saying that Priscilla's lawsuit against Riley over Lisa Marie's Will used the name, image and likeness of the name Priscilla Presley, and there is now a lawsuit over that.
Either way, Priscilla sold her right to use the Presley name. Can you believe that?

In terms of the marriage the trust was undermined by the pressure Elvis was put on to marry. Elvis had loved and trusted Lucy DeBarbin. He also trusted Anita Wood & Anne Margaret. Elvis had loving relationships. I don't think we can say "he cheated". The marriage was over before he or the public realized.
Elvis was watching out for what Priscilla choose to do. He would say to Joyce & other girlfriends such that Kathy Tatum reported in her book that he was free or regarding the separation & divorce. He would notify his girlfriend Joyce Bova when she could be with him at Graceland, as Priscilla rarely came over & lived away from Elvis. Priscilla stayed with Mike for 5 years. In one of the biography accounts Elvis begged Priscilla to return to him. He knew Priscilla was not with him as his friends, the MM reported this to him. She stayed in one of the California house not wanting to be around Graceland while Elvis stayed there.
Reading from "Letters from Elvis" Elvis was spending time away from Priscilla in a couple of situations described there. Elvis rejected Priscilla advances at the hotel wanting to rest before performances. He'd wanted to drive alone to California once when the baby was little and he was being yelled at for waking the baby. Elvis was trying to keep a loving relationship with Lucy. She being married he met Joyce Bova. Elvis wanted Joyce in his life even when Joyce got angry at him.
Joyce learned about all the different sleep medicine Elvis took & took it herself. She held his hand while a long needle was inserted into his eye due to glaucoma, spent time with him from 1969 to 1971, going to sleep & waking with him. She became pregnant with his baby at one point, he installed a private telephone in her apartment in Washington D.C, in order to keep in better contact. She had a high profile job in Washington and Elvis was determned to make things work for them. "Don't Ask Forever, My love Affair with Elvis Presley" by Joyce Bova.
Elvis could not be alone & needed personal care relationships with girlfriends. This goes beyond the idea of infidelity. These were relationships. People think of Elvis as being a symbol. Rather he was a complex caring man who needed the support and kindness of the women in his life.

I don't have much words to say in regards to the women Elvis shared his life with cause I wasn't there. Stories can change being handed down to one person to another and embellished to sell. Truth only lays between Elvis and the women and sadly he's not here to share his accounts and personal truth.
I do however respect and validate everyone who's shared their personal truth but keep an open mind.
By how I perceive Lisa's truth, I'd say she got the hardest and saddest experience of all. To be traumatized of not only losing her father at a young age and she adored but seeing him laying on the bathroom floor, constantly compared to her father, to not have her own identity, her mother stealing money, SA'd by mother's boyfriend, her mother not putting her as first priority, losing her son and other traumatic experiences. Each trauma has it's own affects and she had layers of them.
Wealth and fame to an outsider, who struggles financially will often times perceive that person as having no right for tears, they'll minimize any struggles and burdens they have due to reasons they're deflecting their own finanical weight. We as a society commonly believe "all" our happiness lays at the feet of financial wealth when it's not the case. Sure money is a vital neccessity, and none of us want to struggle but when it comes to emotional trauma's such as those Lisa endured, money is not a cure.
There is a thing called, "Situational Depression", it's when once the situation is relieved the depression leaves. Such as financial poverty, loss of job, home or vehicle and other things of that nature. Suffering to have ones own identity, loss of a parent & child, family & any loved one, forms of abuse, addictions, self esteem, mental health, any kind of pyschological infliction, chronic sickness, wealth will not be the cure, unless that wealth happens to offer a treatment for a illness or malignant disease. I say all that cause Lisa born to privilage, a lot couldn't see or did see and minimized it. She was fully aware of the blessings she had, grateful & appreciative, she carried herself humbly. When people say she was down to earth, it's called humility & she had a great dose of it. She had a giving & empathic heart.
I've known some folks without anything to their name with the crulest heart and also wealthy folks with a cruel disposition and vice versa. A person is whom they are with & without wealth & also fame. Nothing changes anyone, all it does is highlight who they've always been.
There is a mixture of sadness and joy I feel by the life of Elvis.
I look to his life as a prominent example of what our cultural has valued, (fame & wealth), changes needed for our culture to evolve to a higher heart concious, the do's and don't's. There is nothing lost in the life he lived if we choose to learn lessons.
Living up to a certain image is not just something Elvis struggled with if we really consider thinking about it. We all wear a image to a certain degree. We're one way at work, one way at gatherings, at home, around our spouses & significant others, around certain people. We try to pretend there isn't this realism to us, we're scared of the shame it makes us feel when there is nothing to be ashamed of, we're simply human. I believe for past decade we've moved in a direction of bringing more humanism to ourselves and it's cause social media has provided us an outlet to share that part of us.
What Lisa shared in her last words was humanism. She gave us a beautiful & important gift. I thank her from depths of my heart. If it takes her influence for society to gain more courage to do same, I'm on board. It's how we learn so to take on new ways of mastering our emotional world, healing, stretching, continue to consciously grow to a higher self & grow collectively.
My heart always holds a place for her precious daughters. Riley did a outstanding job on co-writing. I know her mama is proud.

I don't believe that Elvis controlled prissy, I think she dressed and looked the way she did to trap Elvis.
I dont believe what Joe has to say either, he always thought that he was better than any of the other guys. Even Lisa said in her book, that the only one who would tell her what to do or tell her off was Joe.

You can sue people for libel and slander all the time. Libel is written slander is verbal- but nothing could be proven as a lie because she used exactly what Priscilla said- and of course, the stress analyzer test which was used in police stations across the country stated that Priscilla lied about everything except for one thing which was not even important to the story the name that currie introduced himself. Everything else was deceptive and lying. In the loving elvis Suzanne had currie Grant on there and she didn’t sue her there

After watching several of your very interesting shows about Elvis and those who knew or loved him; the common theme seems to be Priscilla is all bad and Elvis can do no wrong. Anytime anyone points out some of his deep flaws they are criticized. Or if his flaws are mentioned it is glossed over. While I had no personal interaction with either one of them, my view is that they are both complex people with both good qualities and bad. There are many celebrities who do not bother to sue for defamation simply because it would take up too much time and money. It does not mean the stories are true. Vernon Presley too had both good and bad qualities. I feel if he was a stronger and wiser father Elvis would not have been taken advantage of by Col Parker and so many others. The fact that he married so soon after his first wife’s death shows a weakness. And the woman was not a nice person even her children agree. For these reasons I find it hard to believe that he alone without Priscilla’s help turned Graceland into a profit. I have enjoyed Billy Stanley’s sweet stories of his time with Elvis. While Elvis was a one of a kind and a once in a lifetime entertainer, who was kind and generous to many; he was not a faithful husband or boyfriend yet he demanded it from his women. And his overindulgent parenting style is not good for a child. Ask any professional in this area.

Oh, I think that certainly there was some spoiling that happened, but that’s natural. He grew up with nothing so he gave his daughter that’s kind of how I’ve been with my children and no it is not the healthiest. I completely agree with you..

so agree with you. my observations too. she, Prescilla, was too young to live in Graceland, she, of course, followed the lifestyle they all lived, grew with it into her adult years.. The saddest thing is when she left Elvis, she also left his family behind , to the detriment of Lisa Marie who didn't have the experience of an extended family on her father's side. She was so much more her father than mother. I recommend two books Last Train to Memphis and Careless Love, both by Peter Gurulnick. Long reads but factual, more history than gossip.

      @RareElvisPhotos  27 днів тому +1

Yeah, I don’t believe Elvis committed suicide or wanted to commit suicide, but he did tell Cathy Westmoreland and other people that he was going to die soon. He said something very cryptic to Larry Geller before he passed away. Supposedly, he said something very similar to David stanley the next time you see me will be in a different place on a higher plane. None of us want to ever consider the possibility of it. I could see how people would say well maybe David Stanley had lied because he doesn’t have the best reputation with protecting Elvis even though I have his brother Billy on the show and Billy does nothing but protect Elvis. It doesn’t mean that David is lying or David is telling the truth. Then you have Larry Geller and his last conversation with Elvis when Elvis was trying to get him to come upstairs to visit and read some and I know that Larry regrets not going up because of some of the things elvis said. I said I’ll see you tomorrow and Elvis said will you? I’ll have to find that interview. I don’t believe that Larry Geller and David Stanley are in the same mold of each other and friends to come up with a similar story. I don’t know what to think but I don’t truly want to have my mind to go there. Elvis was dying in my opinion end of the conversation he had with Kathy Westmoreland backed that up.

@@RareElvisPhotos Looks like we are not reading the right books. Elvis in 1968 wrote to his woman confidant that Marlon Brando his mutual friend
gave him as Elvis already knew that Priscilla was unfaithful to him during his marriage as Priscilla became pregnant again and Elvis could not sleep
with her any more and needed to get professional advice as to how handle the situation. So Elvis started this correspondence from 1968 t0 1972 and
wrote a total of 46 letters in his own hand writing addressed to " My Sister " in the same hand writing as the poem to Desiree that Lucy got, signing it
with the name El. He would give these letters to Marlon to pass on, Elvis also wrote to Marlon as they were pen pals. To cut the story short Priscilla
also had 2 miscarriages and Elvis with Marlon present found her sleeping with Marvin (Gee Gee). Priscilla must have located some of Elvis's replies
as she got very confused as a Patricia Parker sued Elvis at that time for him fathering her child, similar to what Lucy did to Elvis later.Prisciila got
jealous and wrote a 6 page letter addressed to "My Sister In Law" as she must have thought Elvis was writing to a sister of his (strange) and gave it to
Marlon Brando to forward. In the letter there is a lot to digest. Firstly she would not know why Elvis would not even talk to her. She stated she loved
Elvis as a Greek God and there was a lot of shocking information. Elvis with the advice he was given did forgive her and wanted her to come back
to him. But Priscilla did not want to, she wanted money and a divorce .Thus Elvis became heartbroken and there two times when he wanted to commit
suicide. Also notes to that affect after his death were found. It's all in two books: LETTERS FROM ELVIS and BRANDO ON ELVIS available since 2018.
As to the case about Patricia Parker the case was dismissed by DNA evidence analysis but it took 2 years. Elvis could have never done something like
this, just take a look at all his loving dates he had, none of them had any children with him.

It is no secret that the author disliked Elvis and wanted to expose him in writing this book. That's why she titled it Child Bride". Which in itself is a lie, Priscilla was 21 when she married Elvis. She found out the truth about Priscilla but carried on anyway. I lived this era, I am Priscilla as age. Her parents groomed her to Marry rich. That was done in that era. I was Married at 18 and my sister at 17. There are many point's where the author tries to psycoanalize Elvis and she is wrong.
