Clara Hope is an industrial protest musician, electronic composer, digital artist, trans woman (she/her) exploring power structures and ecological crisis. And...creator of Kanye Quest 3030! Clara's new album ASCEND - an experimental compilation album - is out soon! The instrumental compilation combines remastered versions of once lost recordings used in the Ascensionism alternate reality game, and featured in the Finding Yeezus web series, with several previously unreleased pieces.

FINDING YEEZUS is a six-part investigative comedy web-series starring comedians and pop-culture detectives Cameron James and Alexei Toliopoulos. The pair embark on an action-packed investigation to find out who made ‘Kanye Quest 3030’ - an infamous RPG game that went viral in 2013 after a hidden level was uncovered with potential links to the cult ‘ascensionism’.
The series also stars Aunty Donna and comedians Zoe Coombs Marr, Vidya Rajan, Annie Louey, and Urvi Majumdar.

i think it's so poetic that you guys chose the matrix as the theme for this series considering how it to was made as a metaphor for the trans experience, can't wait to see what goes on next

As someone who was massively involved as a player (Ascend Disciple) with the weird ARG that was going with this in the background shortly after Kanye Quest got big from the initial discovery of the secret I'm so happy to finally find out who was more or less behind it all. My jaw dropped when I saw Orlowski because I saw him a lot when playing the late stages of the game. I do wish I could ask Clara if she and Orlowski were the ones running that game fully or if they had any help because some stages of it were truly weird and difficult to decipher, but it is an awesome amount of closure for a weird thing that sort of consumed my life for a couple months years and years ago.
Yeah it was just the two of them! She’s posted some pics of the ARG puzzles and other things on her Instagram. So cool.
@clara hope wow so glad you responded! I remember going crazy trying to figure out who sid culpa and abby davies were. I gotta say I loved the creepy stories that would play on that radio station but I think the storm game was the craziest part.
Was there ever meant to be an "end game"? I always felt like it sort of tapered off. But I suppose its difficult to continue coming up with crazy ideas like that. I swear I would probably talk your ear off about this if I could just asking questions about it all, we all never knew if it was actually real or not.
I would lie awake at night just wishing I could get a clear answer in my emails 🤣. So glad to see you're doing well in your life and this has been absolutely wild to see how "easily" these two guys figured it all out after seeing so many youtubers come to crazy or incomplete conclusions on this.

It was honestly a little heartbreaking seeing you guys finally "packing away the cheezels" as they say.
One of my favourite things about this is that you made a series themed on The Matrix, and then, exactly like The Matrix, the deeper into it you went, the more it turned out to all be trans as fuck. It worked out perfectly!
I love that we had two different episodes about cool creative trans people, and the way you handled that with so much care and respect when it probably wasn't what you were expecting. Incredible work!
Side note, I hope we get to see or hear longer versions of some of these interviews at some point, the longer format allowing for less heavily edited conversions is the biggest thing I really miss from Finding Drago/Desperado. Any chance you'd release them in podcast form?
Also, I can't wait for the behind the scenes podcast for your next series where you'll presumably get Clara to interview you.
The plan was always to release longer cuts of the interviews, but once you’ve chopped it down to the most essential story/funny elements it’s hard to listen back to the longer ones. Next project hopefully we’ll have more budget & less time constraints to allow for longer edits!

i can't believe what I've just watched, not what I was expecting at all. I mean this series didn't really explain everything very well, like some of the concepts were explained in a very generalised way and skimmed over, but to be honest it didn't need to because it explained exactly enough for the story and comedy to work, and it's amazing that the actual video that solves this mystery was something really really funny and not just an amateur investigation series with creepy music, and you didn't even parody that style or anything. multiple times in every video i was laughing out loud and it's 2am. i found this while procrastinating and watching some hour long video in the above style i previously mentioned feeling really burnt out about not just what i was procrastinating on but also the procrastination itself, and someone in the comments recommended this video since the topic came up briefly. I opened it for later and I'm really glad I watched this after I'd completed what I was meant to be doing.

A small project snowballs into something bigger than the original creation itself. A highschool project turned into one of the great internet mysteries of the 2010s. The butterfly effect is a beautiful phenominon. What a saga, what an ending. We finally got the closure we needed.
