- Designed by Folkway's Mark Stutman and released as a 24 guitar limited production model, the 0002H Custom Traditional is Collings' first Traditional Series 12-fret 000, and an exact recreation of the guitar Mark spec'd for 3-time Grammy winner Joe Henry.
- Indian rosewood and Adirondack spruce with Dreadnought-depth body and scalloped Sitka braces
- Short 24-7/8" scale 12 fret neck with 2-5/16 pin spread at the bridge and 1-3/4" nut
- Dark Cremona Sunburst top, thin Nitrocellulose lacquer finish
- Waverly 3/plate tuners with ivoroid buttons

I love the specs - as you mention a great combination for both vintage Martin and Gibson fans (and who isn't?). Collings should make a few of these every year - in both sunburst and natural!

I think I’ve read that Kopp uses the Sitka tops and red spruce braces. Whatever he does…it works as I’ve played both John Walker and Kevin Kopp takes of the NL and they are both fantastic guitars. I have a Tony Klassen 13 fret that’s out of the park also. We are spoiled these days.
Pre war: Do you have a Tony Klassen Nick Lucas style? I'm really curious about those. I have a Brazilian Round Shoulder Euphonon that is great, and I wouldn't mind having another New Era.
My ears and eyes perked up the first time I heard about this guitar being released. I love Joe Henry and his music, and I love what you guys are doing at Folkway music, as well as Collings guitars. What a great combination! I would love to get my hands on one, but with a tiny production run of 24 and the premium price, sadly it will likely not happen. Hopefully Joe will be playing his when we see him in San Francisco in February.

Thanks. Agreed. These are all off-the-cuff quickie iphone vids. There is a lot we can improve upon in the A/V department. Trying to get vids out without a lot of time-consuming post production or set up results in this kind of compromise. Still, we'd love them to sound and look better too.
