Fiddle leaf fig grows naturally in Western Africa and soil of Western Africa contains iron and clay . So there is no need to get panic about red clayey soil in fiddle leaf fig plant , plough till 6” add some compost and coarse sand , or repot your plant in well draining soil without disturbing soil around root ball .
