What a beautiful memory it is for me! That evening I was present at the show, called Pavarotti and friends. Luciano organized this concert every year in his small city of origin (Modena), it brought together many famous personalities of international music and did it to raise funds to be donated to charity. Thanks to remember it.
I was lucky enough to see both Poverati and James Brown in concert 14 times!! 8 times Poverati and 6 times James Brown!! ❤❤ R.I. P. Luciano Poverati and James Brown!! 🙏❤️
think it was an open air concert 2002 in modena, a city and the birth place of "big P" to celebrate his birthday. The concert: "Pavaroti and Friends" there have been other ledgends singing with him eg grace jones and others.. greets, michael hamburg, germany
Its 1 of Pavarotti's many " War Child" charity concerts from the 1990's and early 2000's . They were always performed in Pavarotti's home town of Modena in Italy. He sang with just about every legendary A lister musician going.
I just want the two of you to know I have the upmost respect so what you do it's refreshing to see someone's reaction to the greats I'm bringing it back to the present thank you both
If you guys have not yet listened to opera pieces in your reactions, may I make a couple of recommendations? "Nessun Dorma" by Luciano Pavarotti "O Helga Natt" by Jussi Bjorling
Yep... It is literally his song, since he actually wrote it. Most people don't even know that... they just know that he was the one that always sang it.
@@margaretsmith8337 No what he's saying is James wrote the song. Though Pavarotti did feel it, it's deeper for James because he wrote it... He released it in 1966 as a single, it has a different meaning to him
They didn’t prepare us for all the different dialects/accents when we studied english in school. Jesus Christ! Nice guys but that accent is something else. From Liverpool? :-)
Oh Helen...James grins everytime ANYONE feels his soul and shouts it out. He had soul..... Loosen up girl....smile. Thnx guys. Your joy as you watched this made my heart swell big.
Why ??? You show us how smart you are and learn different language and maybe some good manners !!! You are expressing your self like TOTALY ignorant primitive asshole !!!! Yes my spelling and expressing myself is not that great , but this is my fourth language I had to learn !!!
