The sloppy joe's looked absolutely delicious!! I still can't believe how they have conversations. Every day they seem to get better. I notice Walt is trying to get them to use their memory by talking about what they did/saw. Good job, Walt. Interesting how they like to play with their fingers, and talk to other fingers. Momma fingers, Dada fingers... Love these girls.
I walk daily & today a young women was walking towards me & I heard a baby crying & when she got closer she had 2 baby girls on her in front carriers, my 1st thought was Anna & Guin & I also thought how ingenius walking the babies to keep them happy & keep momma in shape. She & all moms of all twins have both hands full. I thought back to when mine was that age. It was hectic with just 1. Anna & Guin are at a perfecr age. God Bless them. Double the fun. Twin girls are such a gift from God. Just precious.
So sweet to see such nice comments, too many people are armchair experts and feel the need to criticise Alicia on her parenting. It’s easy to see how devoted the are, how much they both adore their little girls and try to view things with humour which is a huge plus during the challenging times we have with all toddlers. 👵💜 when my children were small (in the dark ages) I used a brown and serve roll for their sandwiches. No sliders in the late 60's earl y70's. I love the imagination s the girls have. Thank you for sharing. I had forgotten all the imagination conversations I had with my children.

They really can't. Poor Ana kept trying to figure out how to pick up the whole sandwich, but it was too big. Cutting it in half would have been a good move and wouldn't have been too messy because Alicia wisely didn't overload the filling. The important thing is that they did eat it, and it looked delicious.

Guin has become a whiner. At the beginning I looked at her to be the alpha female, but she totally has changed my mind. Anastasia is the independent one. Also, can’t stand to watch the videos anymore. Between the dog tapping his nails on the floor when walking and while videotaping, so annoying and the parents won’t show them how to hold a sandwich, she doesn’t make them use their forks, while letting them keep stabbing their placemats with the forks. I have seen enough of this. I wish everyone well in their future endeavors.

Mama Barton is not a professional videographer she is just a mama recording her beautiful babies and lovingly sharing them with all of us viewers!!! Sloppy Joes were a regular part of our weekly dinner menus when I was growing up (especially during the summer - quick and easy), so I was excited to see if the girls liked them, too. Guinevere cracked me up each time she tasted her Sloppy Joe...I couldn't tell whether she was reacting to the spicy taste or just the deliciousness of it all. Anastasia's technique of eating her roll...so unique and very funny! How sweet to hear that Tobey is Gwen's favorite swimming instructor and Ana's, too, even when Dad named some others. If I ever visit the Cape May Zoo, I'll have to remember that the lion doesn't like to be touched...thanks for the tip, Gwen - LOL! 🥰💜💖👍👍

They enjoyed their sandwiches.❤ For my children and now my grandchildren, I plated the sandwich. I then served whole for them to see it, cut it up and handed them a spoon and fork. We moved up to hotdog buns, then hamburger buns.
Oh my goodness, this zoo talk brought back a wonderful memory. My young adult daughter literally ran off and joined the circus. One of my favorite circus stories was this.... Two little girls, children of circus folk, were walking past the tiger cage. They were a couple of years apart in age. The little one looked at the tiger and said "Look he likes me" and the older girl grabbed the little one away from the cage and said "He likes you like I like meatloaf"
They are putting their own unique spin on eating sloppy Joes, especially Ana! 😂😂😂 Mum has tried to show them but they prefer to do it their own way & seem to be having fun doing it their way.

Oh my goodness, this zoo talk brought back a wonderful memory. My young adult daughter literally ran off and joined the circus. One of my favorite circus stories was this.... Two little girls, children of circus folk, were walking past the tiger cage. They were a couple of years apart in age. The little one looked at the tiger and said "Look he likes me" and the older girl grabbed the little one away from the cage and said "He likes you like I like meatloaf"

They are putting their own unique spin on eating sloppy Joes, especially Ana! 😂😂😂 Mum has tried to show them but they prefer to do it their own way & seem to be having fun doing it their way.
