- I got to borrow my friend's Nord Piano 5 and I'm comparing two of my favorite piano sounds from a keyboard, the Royal Grand vs the White Grand! Which one do you like better?? Let me know in the comments
The while grand is brighter. Both sound awesome
i just threw up in my mouth at work, so glad this video came up on my recommended as i am a Caribbean Gospel keyboardist. Would love to connect with you bro. keep doing your thing!!!!!
Thanks bro!! 💪🏾
They both sound amazing in different ways!!!
I love his plane I think he’s very talented. The only thing that I’m upset with is that that keyboard cost a lot of money, and for anyone to put it on A Shaking stand is unconstitutional lol😊
This guy is seriously talented. (I am from Norway, so I might get the spelling wrong). But wow, what a musically gifted man.
Thanks so much!!
Fantastic feel and chords man. Very nice
Appreciate it!!
I keep coming back just to hear the royal grand demonstration, you’re just too filthy man 🔥
Appreciate that!! 🙏🏾
Bro this is so beautiful, I keep playing it 🙌🏾👏🏾
Thanks a lot!!
Sweet!!!❤
Means a lot! Thanks brother!!
great playing bro.
Honestly, before I watched your video, I thought for sure I would've gone with the White Grand. But after watching your video, I'm gonna have to choose the Royal Grand 3D. It just has more of a "Darker" and "Lush" sound which I love, and I think that to me makes it sound better in my opinion. But if I wanted more of a "Brighter-sounding" piano that cuts through the mix more, then I would have to go with the White Grand. Either way, they're both great pianos for live playing.
I think they both sound good. I own white grand from sampletekk too. They did the samples which Nord derived several of their pianos from. My experience with white grand is that it is slightly more stretch tuned. If you need surgical tuning or the perfect clean piano, one of the Yamaha or Steinways is better, but if you want a jazzy, gospel, vibey sound, or whatever adjective fits… the white grand is the one that does that really well. I’d say it isn’t my “use only one piano to be happy with” sound, but that’s the beauty of multiple libraries. Uprights, small grands, large grands, and tuning all offer a different feel without needing a room with 20 pianos and a technician. As always, your playing sounds good and that is the thing that people enjoy. Another good video.
Thank you!! This comment makes a lot of sense!
White Grand fam...WHITE GRAND! Backing up an R&B vocalist with the White Grand is just way to nice best piano for live use in my opinion.
Both are fantastic. White Grand is a bigger sound overall, huge boomy bottom end and super chimey bright top. I think it’s suited for more heavy handed playing and will definitely cut through a mix with a full band and stand out much better. Royal Grand has a softer, warmer more mid range focused kind of sound to it. I think Royal is much better voiced for soft solo playing and singer-songwriter style accompaniment. Can’t go wrong with either, they both shine in their own ways. Just download them both! 😁😁
Man every time you play ya make me wanna get saved all over again lol
Haha appreciate that bro!
For live playing with my bands i never played a better piano sample than the White Grand.
It’s great!
I like the brighter sound of the white. Royal is solid too but for sake of the question I’m gonna go with white
Got you!
As always, I'm brethless while hearing you play. It's amazing!
Then Nord is Nord. ALl their piano samples are useful. I think they are of the principle we're all useful because we're different. But in my understanding, they're missing a fully tuned, classic concert grand; a piano that resembles a good, top piano which you'd find in a concert room somewhere around the world.
Wonderful playing!
Really appreciate that!!!

Here you can see some Nord pianos for Assembly.
Beautiful playing. Hard to choose between the two. Depends on the song for me.
Thanks! And yes I agree
Great performance, thanks a lot! My personal favorite is the Royal Grand.
May I ask you with which Touch settings you have recorded or you are usually playing the Nord Piano 5 (heavy, medium or light)?
Thank you! I have the touch settings on the default which is medium I believe
@@AndrewMcKain Thanks for your reply, very appreciated.
Royal Grand.....!!! Both great!! but that's my thoughts on it
Yessir, definitely both great
Bruh whyyyy my Nord electro6d don’t sound this good I mean it’s the same sounds but it sounds fake this sounds so real is there a difference???
I think the royal grand has a little more body to it, and the white grand is a little more pristine and sharper!!!
Btw when y’all coming back to MD
Hopefully soon bro!
It might be time for a new stand, keyboard is shaking back and forth. Double braced or Z stands stands are better for 88 key stage & digital pianos.
I love the white grand better...but it doesn't put the royal grand out of place.
Both are not just great but legendary....
Agreed, I’m fine either way, they’re both great
Royal grand sounds better to me
nice touch. But, get a better stand bro xd
please start doing gospel tutorials🥲
I’m planning to do that soon
