Dowry is paid to the groom. So whoever the groom is, gets that amount for whatever station he is. For example, if the groom is a peasant, than he recieves the lowest amount. If the groom is a noble, the highest, i believe, dont remember if royalty is included on that chart, if so, then second highest. So basically, your heir will recieve a dowry for the amount based on his station, or status, but will have to pay a dowry of the status amount the groom his sister or daughters or any other girl he is responsible for in his family to marry. So if youre aiming high for the sister, better start making some money lol.
for ye olde cookbook some recipes youll have to make things like butter and flour first and grab servings from them to be able to make some fancier stuff, just so you know! Kosmic Hippie is doing a Decades challenge and she uses it too. First ep was super funny, can't wait for more!

I loved this part! The Typhoid Fever is from the Dickensian Illnesses mod I believe and as far as I know, you can't really cure your sims without the herbalism skill. I personally uninstalled the mod in my game bc I didn't want all of my sims dying lol

This is great! I’m really excited for this! I did want to point out that the outside of Clyde and Eve’s home is a bit too…modern. The top (with the brown and white siding) is called Tudor style and didn’t become popular until the 1500’s! (Think Henry VIII or Elizabeth I) Don’t feel like you have to change it. I just wanted to point it out!

The death roll is every time you age up a sim, the numbers next to the age they will turn into are numbers in which they die if you roll that number. The only reason I did death rolls for the parents and the grandparents in the beginning is because they are side characters. Hope this helps! ❤❤
