I’m most likely starting a program in a few days (either Friday or Monday) and I’ve been wondering so much about what it will actually be like so thank you for making this video. I don’t know if there will be differences in my experience and yours since I’m only 17, but I assume it will be similar to the adult program. I’m the same as you - meaning it took me a long time to get help, but I’m glad I am now.
Aw, I’m so glad you’re getting help. You have to prioritize yourself over everything else when it comes to things like this. It took to a long time to realize my life was completely out of balance and I needed more help than I thought. I wish you the best. 18 is a hard age. Society says you’re an adult but there is still a lot that isn’t understood

I’m going tomorrow and I’m scared I’m going to an acute partial hospitalization program from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for 14-17 I believe and I heard bad bad reviews I’m jus glad I won’t have to be an inpatient any tips? Should I bring my phone even though I know we can’t use it in there for the bus ride there because I’ll be getting picked up and dropped off by them
There were bad reviews on the place I went but it was for the inpatient hospital which was attached and not for the php program. I would try to stay off the phone and just stay present and open minded as much as you can. Try not to judge based on others experiences and share as much as you can. I’m happy you’re getting whatever help you need. I’m trying to get back into php as well.
My first day I got pulled out a lot for paperwork and different people checking in so don’t get down too much if you don’t get a lot out of day 1.

It's going ok. Always hard to process things and sometimes it gets worse before it gets better.
Does this PHP ready help?
PHP helped me the most out of all the others but it depends on what you’re ready for and what program you’re in. My experiences are just that, my experiences
Are the groups coed are their males and females in the same group
All the groups I went to including inpatient were co Ed but sometimes they have special women’s groups.
@@tryantoheal was there alot of flirting or 1 on 1 contact between you or other patients I apologise for the questions to I had a bad experience and I'm just trying to get ahold of my next approach

If there is any dorming stay were your roomed is that coed to bathrooms living dining etc and if so is it supervised
No definitely not. Everyone was minding their own business from my experiences
Everything was supervised or on camera. The rooming, bathrooms were not coed, but everything else was. I was in multiple different places and never saw any issues. Most people are on meds and trying to keep to themselves
