@@CarolynsRVLife Does your DISCOUNT CODE work on anything Bluetti? I’m looking at their “Charger1” for DC to DC charging my AC200L (that I got with your discount code).
I REALLY appreciate that you let us hear footsteps, wind, quietness and enjoy the peace. No bad loud music, just a touch here and there. Thank you for your video I love them.
I have a daughter and grand daughters in Mesquite. About 4 hours from where you were. I really appriciate the how you leave a camera out at night, to show how beautiful the night sky is. I dont think some people realize how beautiful the desert is. Thank you!
Thank you so much Carolyn for such a detailed and clear review of our Venustas heated apparel! Your thoughtful insights and thorough testing mean a lot to us. It’s amazing to see how much effort you’ve put into showcasing the product’s features and benefits. We’re so grateful for your support!❤
I always love how in depth your videos are on scenery, the night sky, walking with Sadie, and cooking. Thank you. The Northern Lights with the beautiful background music was spectacular! Thank you
The antelope was waiting for you to leave their back yard lol. They are known to defend their territories pretty fiercely especially when they have paired up in the breeding season. Stay alert and safe out there as always great video!
What an amazing video Carolyn! This scenery was absolutely beautiful and serene. Love the beautiful wide open desert with mountains and rocks. Thanks for all the info about where you were at. Love traveling with you and Sadie ❤️
I could've used that jacket when I was outside in New Hampshire, working with horses every day of my life for DECADES!!!! OMG, I used to freeze half to death every winter. It's why I live in Florida now. :P LOL
I remember when I was a kid, we would drive from Sacramento to Boulder City, NV to visit family for thanksgiving. I would look out into the desert and see all the trails and roads up into the mountains. I always wanted to drive up those to explore. Now you’ve given me a small glimpse of what I was missing. Thank you for your videos.
I absolutely love this video and the beautiful adventures you share with us. Tonopah, Nevada looks like such a peaceful place, and I really enjoyed the calming desert scenery you captured. Plus, Sadie’s antics always bring a smile to my face-she's such a good girl! Your tips for staying warm in the RV during those chilly desert nights were really insightful. I’ll definitely be trying out some of your ideas on my next trip. The thought of having a portable power solution to help keep things running in more remote areas is definitely something I’ll be considering for my setup! Thanks again for sharing these incredible adventures with us. I’m already looking forward to your next one!
I so appreciate your taking us along here in the desert and especially enjoy your tidbits of history. That and watching you cook your delicious meals! Thank you, may God bless your work.
What a beautiful place! Thanks for taking us along! And we get to learn a little about Native American culture. Happy Camping and Safe Travels! Glad you have that nice warm coat to keep you warm!! ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🐶🐶🐾🐾
Thanks for sharing all your explorations around your campsite. It brings back some fond memories of such remote sites around the two ‘offsite’ underground nuclear explosion test sites in central Nevada. I once came across a weathered woman’s shoe from the late 1800s.
I sent. your lentil bread recipe from a previous video, to my vegan daughter (vegan since she was 15 years old - now 49) and she loved it. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
I loved that all I heard as you hiked was the wind and your footsteps. Best way to experience the solitude with you! And I'm reading Desert Solitude right now!❤
Carolyn, the camera work in this video is outstanding. I love the distance shots that show you and Sadie walking through the scenery. Lots of new camera work in this video, it's very creative. Of course, the dancing aurora was spectacular. I was very interested in the Pronghorn behavior, I've never seen anything like that. They are such skiddish creatures. All in all, this was such a satisfying video. Thank you for all the work you put into this vid. ☮️
Hi Cynthia, YES!!! Pronghorns are always skiddish, this behavior really caught me off guard. They literally stood there like they were challenging us. It must have been b/c of the rut. And thank you for your compliments on my camera work. I'm still learning my 'real' camera and having fun getting creative with it. I hope you're doing well. Sending warm hugs.
Stunningly beautiful!!! Thanks for always not just the pictures but the info that tells the story. Do you ever wonder when you see a bird hanging around if it's a spy bird? This is how my mind works and thinks. BB is everywhere any more in so many ways. LOL
❤ calendar, yay! Put in my order! Your calendars are always stunning. I love that you have given the info about where the photo is each month! Will love watching the videos associated with the photo each month! Fantastic idea on so many levels. I can't believe it's Dec already! Flew by this year♥️💕 love to you, Sadie and your mom
Wonderful video. I liked the superimposed ufo suggestion. 😉 Sure like that heated jacket, as I get really cold in winter, even in my house! If you are in an RV, that is terrific! 👍
Love the coat n vest. Granddaughter just moved to Michigan n she's about 100pds 😂 not a cold weather child born o NC. So will be getting a vest for her thank you.
H i love this video. Thanks. Here in south Australia its alrezdy heztjng up for our really hot summer. Usually in the high 90-100's for days on end. Fhd nights don't really cool down much, so we canf get much relief. I hope you find somewhere nice to camp for the holiday period.i
Wow, thank you! Investing in a 'real' camera (Lumix s5 mirrorless full frame) has really ignited my creativity.. I hope you're having a relaxing evening.
We love to visit Tonopah, there is a sweet little (haunted) motel we like to stay at, and that vest especially was pretty stylish, southern women appreciate a good vest
Carolyn, you find the most interesting places to camp! A beautiful area as well! Your soup/bread combo looked delicious! Safe travels to you and Sadie! 🌞🇺🇸😄
Nice video! I hope that your furnace is fix and working! I like your heated Jacket and vest , I can see where both of them can be a valuable asset... The Prong horns seemed to not be happy with you and Sadie being there , that was a wise decision to avoid them . I hope that you and Sadie are doing well!
Loved the night stuff, so beautiful. Also interesting to see your night life, can't remember seeing that before. Hope that furnace thing is an easy fix.
What does it feel like visiting an ancient indian campsite and only seeing your own footprints there? I want to know. Loved this video, the Northern Lights were amazing. Thank you. Hugs to you and Sadie.
❤Love the price. Thanks so much. I'm so old school. I still believe you need a clock and trash can (discreetly) in every room. We humans are weird sometimes. But not maga weird..lol
The jacket looks great on you. Do u mind if I ask what size you had on? I need something roomy. Are the sleeves skinny? I layer & prefer a thicker arm. It's a great color on you. Thx for review. 👏💞
I was wearing a 2x and it's quite roomy. The sleeves are nice and big and long and not too tight and even the hood is nice and roomy. They're sending me another jacket and I asked for an XL. With the larger size, cold air gets up it, defeating the whole purpose of the heating elements. I hope that helps. "=)
@CarolynsRVLife TY. I'm short yet thick, so arms get tricky 4 me. I read reviews about how wider jacket creates too much space. Great video /northern lights/, pix. Love the invisible "houseboy". Lol & space ship. 😆
Wow, Carolyn! Don’t know “how” you do that. What happens, say you slipped, kept going, rolling…. And? Broke a leg or get knocked out? What, do you do? Push a Button, say “help I’ve fallen & can’t get up!”? At one point in my life, long time, lol, I would feel like “nah, nothings gonna happen”. Invinceable? But being that you’re so far out? Long way from getting help, aid? Seriously, I’m really curious. No water, as in running stream/s. To soak say an injured foot or ankle. Yes, the night skies are beautiful. Skies clearer, brighter. Catch sights of shooting stars. It’s like that being out in the country, where there’s some farmers homes, where I lived in my car, in wooded area. But a remote desert? Like that? Umm, I wouldn’t feel safe, breathing in all the dry dust?!could not do that.
See, you found the cave entrance for the old recluse with a 4 ft beard that belongs to that satellite dish. 😂 I mean, he need internet for his youtube channel, after all!
when you boondock, what would go on if you left a bowl of food out by the tire or 10 feet away from RV for the mice, would they still inhabit your home while parked in that location. I just bought an RV and I saw your video on mouse traps being the best solution. what about this idea. or would it attract a lot of animals not just mice. do the mice seek warmth and a home to live in or is just the food they seek?
