Considering when the season started, the release for the product and that the cards were printed in Italy it's easy to assume they had to finalize a checklist for the product before they knew if Slaf would play in NHL or not.

Nice break. I picked up 8 boxes at a couple of stores and hit all of the big young guns except for Johnson. I was pretty pleased about that. Got Boldy, Power X 2, Beniers, Rossi, and Hughes X2. This is a really attractive set this year. Plus the corners are nice & sharp.
I really like this new set. I didn’t know about the glow in the dark. Love the fanimation. I was lucky to pull Matty Beniers , Kallgren, and Jack Quinn *in the only box I’ve bought from this series*❤️🐕 need Boldy and Powers, Johnson now. The whole set is beautiful
Opened a few boxes already…was happy to pull a Beniers and Power but the problem I have with young guns is that there just so overly produced…it’s no wonder I’d rather stick to collecting fwa cards because 999 is all there is out there and that’s it compared to these hundreds of thousands of young guns cards…unless of course your lucky enough to hit an exclusive or high gloss that is of course
Hopefully these guys all take off, really need jack quinn to do well, I ended up with his YG, Canvas and Black canvas which of course was damaged so I have a ticket in to UD about that and my kaprizov and lafreniere YG that both had damage...AL card all 4 corners rounded and cracking.
I'm not sure why you pointed out the "Printed in Italy" part. Upper Deck has been done this before. 2021-22 was also printed in Italy and can also be traced back to some variations of cards to 1995.
Yeah, I think just about all sets in there look better than pervious years. Interesting that they had to buy the printing from half the world away for it to be on time and without half of the inserts being dinged 😂 After going through the checklist and seeing quite a few cases being opened, it seems like serial numbered are seeded at just above 1 per case. That would mean around 8-9 million hobby boxes were produced, quite an increasse from 15-17 years ago when 1,2-1,5 million were made. This could mean this years YG could break the 100k copies each with Retail, Blaster, Walmart etc included, the highest ever at the 1:4 pack format. 💸 Idk, always a fun rip, but probably a poor investment long term compared to a Crosby, Ovie, Malkin, Kane, Price YG at 11-14k copies. No hate, just trying to be informative. 🤷
Wow a 40$ card…is that the most valuable card in this set? Gonna buy a box just for kicks I havnt collected cards since the 90’s and was loving watching it happen. Brought me back a bit

They've been printing in Italy since series 2 of 2021-2022 from my understanding.... imo that should not change, quality is night and day
