Finally I found a video how to cut bangs properly, at least the way I like it. It's hard to find a hairstylist that cuts bangs the way this man does. I've gone to high end to low end and have found a few hairstylist that cut bangs this way. This video is very helpful when teaching one to cut their own bangs.

Pamela S I have to admit my male stylist have been the only professionals who got the colour and cut correct. female stylists have always screwed up my hair and smile like an idiot at the end that I wanna knock their face off

The Hairdresser is a genius with the way he handles those scissors! I have to agree that cutting a fringe does take some skill as I found out when the only time I have cut my fringe ended in a total disaster that couldn't grow out quick enough, so I definitely need a hairdresser to do my hair. Though it is a pain as my fringe also seems to grow out within the space of a day.

My hairdresser will trim my bangs for free in between regular appointments, but I have trimmed them myself when desperate. I really like this video; actually going to do this today!

I think if you leave it straight it suits a round face, whereas you could round the shape of the fringe to soften an angular or square face. my face is round/oval so strong lines work best for me 😊
